Many thanks for dropping by into my little RU-vid channel. County Durham born and bred so coal mining has been in my family and railways / steelworks and brass bands.
This is what youtube should be about helping others for free I use crystal additive now and never had a recurring issue Corroded Nox sensor brains was my issue
@@mondodaftasabrush I use an additive for a while now but for me was too late. I got a défaut code P20F6 ( if I'm not wrong) now system leak detected. I went underneath the car after watching your and another guy video who has the same car as I. Not only was the injector clogged with crystals (stones) and with the pressure it spilled all around the engine compartment. Too bad I can't post pictures in the comments. After the cleaning and testing it has been 1 week with no default message. Again really helpful video
In the description it says that the banners are made in the heart of durham by durham banner makers, yes they are made by Durham Banner Makers but they are not base in durham now they are based in London, Emma Shankland who is one of the artists has done amazing work on all their banner and I would like to say on behalf of Deaf Hill Lodge thank you.
It was nice to see the banner on the field on Saturday in all its glory but I think like most banners on this very heavy rain drenched July Gala it should have been in its plastic cover to protect it. Thanks for your comment I have updated my description.
Much appreciated for the kind words about our new Deaf Hill Lodge Banner it does look great, regarding the rain cover, we spoke to Emma Shankland who made the banner and she was talking to us on the day and was happy the way the banner was not holding the rain it was draining straight off the bottom, the banner is fine so no worries, we did try the cover we had but it was to heavy.
@@marks6809 I think yes as it's a marked on the wiring loom connection I think I got lucky when testing it If your using a 9v I don't think it will hurt anything due to low amp draw Need to pressurise the injector to test the spray pattern New nox sensor curied out problem and had no issues since and we use 10 litres of adblue to 10 thousand miles average
@@mondodaftasabrush Thank you for your anwser, I tried and it worked with 9v battery ;) do you know what errors did you have while scanning ? I have antipolution failure urea and now check engine. but didnt get chance to scan with scanner.
@@marks6809 Hi, I think it will be the NOX sensor can easily be replaced at home on the drive. Maybe you may need a special wrench as they can be tight Poor design placed in the wrong location and prone to corrosion should have been a longer cable and fitted within the vehicle. Never known a adblue tank / pump fail. In my tinkering. But the stealers like to change them at great cost and after a week after they have done it and cleared the codes unhappy motorists will be back. Scanners. I had to update my subscription and update the program as my first scan couldn’t communicate with the car and it was cheaper to update than buy another scanner. You cannot keep up especially if you’re not in the trade with technology. Think apps and Bluetooth diaignostic port are the way forward. I bought a genuine NOX sensor but aftermarket are available but have no knowledge on reliability. Like I say we have had no further faults since replacement . I don’t do forums as rather share stuff on you tube I did have my NOX sensor on line .. to prove what I meant took a lot of videos down You will fix it.
I was there last week with my wife, and we spent a fascinating 4hrs looking around and didn't see half of it. Thankfully, the annual ticket is very affordable, and it allows year round access. Great value for an excellent place. And I've got to mention the staff they were excellent, knowledgeable and very friendly. All in all, it was a great day out. As a matter of fact, everyone from the local area we're excellent good honest hard working Northerners. Second (marginally) only to us Scots. But I'm totally biased in that respect.😂
Just a follow up a year on and 10 thousand miles later and we have had no Adblue issues since The only warning light has been to refill the adblue tank as requested with the 1500 miles countdown. Added ten litres of good quality adblue from Halfrauds as they store it inside and it's fresh in easy pouches. Also added a small bottle of anti crystal solution to tank again as further protection. Those garage forecourts drums out in all weather's and sunlight are prone to crystallise within the solution. Read so much heartache on Citroen. Forums with owners getting ripped off with new pumps and adblue tanks I had to share and then a few weeks later the problem reappears and they get stung for another expensive repair bill for a nox sensor which is the fault most likely all along. Our cactus averages 12 thousand miles to 10 litres of adblue when the warning countdown appears Read so much about people always topping it up so I assume it's got sensor magnets in the fuel cap and keeping a record in the ecu so those motorists whom add a tenner of diesel three times a week might be getting extra squirkts of adblue as we do city driving as well as motorway journeys but brim the tank full every time when it's got just before the fuel warning light comes on
considering it was a hand held grab shot on an really really old phone due to the bad storm forecast wasn't afraid to loose it or get it wet its good enough to share
Wow mine is gathering dust and used it a few times not impressed with it at all just cannot trust it to use for my needs wish I never knew about getting a ticket for this gravy train
Can you tell me an update on what happened? I bought one and 2 days later it started doing this! Very disappointed and I want to try to find a solution
Hi, did you get it from Amazon or direct from China ? I updated the firmware think its had three updates since purchase and replaced the free micro sd card for a better quality one. Lost faith in it from day one ... recently used it a month ago but it's not my go to camera . I get better quality from a camera I paid £5 from a charity shop FJ gimbal summit+ I needed it for a shoot I had in mind and never complained or returned it due to time . Wish I never bought it Contact your seller and complain I know a few have had replacements due to graded units in the mix Wish I could help you more Thanks for reminding me I too own an expensive item that disappointed me from day one out the box
