She's okay, could be better. Needs to extend her leg on her spirals (she keeps it bent like Jia shin). Nice twizzles. A bit stiff and flailing. She's musical but behind the music at times. She has attitude which is good. Traveling on the spins and mediocre flexibility which is disappointing for a woman. The sit spin was not good but the others were fine. She could use more speed and the glide could be smoother for ice dance. I like her but she isn't of the quality of women in ice dance teams in the Senior or junior worlds. I expected more for solo since there isn't a partner to distract from flaws.
I see that you do not understand much about ice dance and solo dance, or have tried it. Solo Dance technique can be even more difficult than Ice Dance, for example to perform all the different turns and steps WITHOUT A PARTNER ASSISTANCE. That s*** is difficult af!!! And since these steps and turns are basically where the points can be earned, try imagine the difficulty of earning good points. Your comments would be nice if they were made from a constructive side, not a destructive one. Try going into an international competition's ice and do half of what Brooke did. Xoxo
@@lolidelrey-b9t Brooke is a highly flawed skater and I pointed out what I especially do not enjoy about her even though I do like some other areas. If that hurts your feelings as a family member so be it.
Thank you! What confuses me is that there are so many different styles on how to do an open inside Mohawk. Ice dancers do it one way, freestyle another. Ice dancers make it really tight and aim for the instep of the standing foot while the freestylers seem to aim for the heel and even have a gap. I would love to see the differences explained. My coach recently told me to do the mohawk element on straight legs with something about the hip that I haven't mastered and bend on the new foot. I see a lot of pros bend before and during the mohawk, straightening on the new foot. It's really confusing!
it's easy for her to out-twizzle single skaters when she has absolutely zero big jump passes taking a toll on her legs. If she did this with 7 full jump passes and multiple 3-3's like the girls on the big GP circuits she'd be very impressive for sure. She used to do singles, and she was nowhere near as good as any of the big GP girls. Singles and doubles were too much. Zero triples. Had to quit and do the easier solo ice dance.
@@savanahbabyyyy That's not a nice thing to say. She's an amazing skater with a great level, and she's doing her best. No need to compare with single skating because they are TWO DIFFERENT DISCIPLINES. I assure you that Solo Dance is as difficult as Single skating, not everything is jumping, by experience. Sounds like you are transforming your internal frustration into jealousy. You should try going out into the rink in front a pannel of judges in the first ever ISU official international of Solo Dance and do half the same as Brooke did. Xoxo
amazingly deep edges and great example -- helps me understand the dance a lot better! is it just me or is the music on the mens step slightly off? it's more synced on the women's steps and thankfully they're the similar
From 1975 to 1991, the clubs of the USSR played 108 matches with the teams of the National Hockey League. During this time, the Clubs of the USSR won 58 victories, 10 matches ended in a draw and lost 40 times to the representatives of the NHL. The most successful team in NHL history is the Montreal Canadiens, with 24 Stanley Cups and 35 Finals appearances. The greatest number of times the winner of the USSR championship was CSKA Moscow - 32. Their meetings with each other: 12/31/1976 Montreal Canadiens - CSKA - 3: 3 12/31/1979 Montreal Canadiens - CSKA - 4: 2 12/31/1985 Montreal Canadiens - CSKA - 1:6 09/18/1990 CSKA - Montreal Canadiens - 3: 2 CSKA won here! Also, CSKA is the record holder of the European Ice Hockey Cup, which won 20 titles, and from 1978 to 1990 did it 13 times in a row. Champions of European countries participated in the draws of this tournament. Therefore, CSKA can be called the strongest team of all time! Meetings of the owner of the Stanley Cup with the champion of the USSR, who became in the season in which the match took place: 12/29/1979 New York Islanders - CSKA - 2: 3 12/31/1985 Montreal Canadiens - CSKA - 1:6 01/12/1991 Pittsburgh Penguins - Dynamo (Moscow) - 3: 4 Meetings of the owner or finalist of the Stanley Cup with the champion or silver medalist of the USSR Championship, who became in the season in which the matches between them took place: 12/31/1976 Montreal Canadiens - CSKA - 3: 3 01/11/1976 Philadelphia Flyers - CSKA - 4: 1 12/29/1979 New York Islanders - CSKA - 2: 3 12/29/1985 Calgary Flames - Dynamo (Moscow) - 4: 3 12/31/1985 Montreal Canadiens - CSKA - 1:6 01/09/1990 Boston Bruins - Dynamo (Moscow) - 1: 3 09/13/1990 Spartak (Moscow) - Minnesota North Stars - 8: 3 01/12/1991 Pittsburgh Penguins - Dynamo (Moscow) - 3: 4 As can be seen from the results, the USSR clubs on the field turned out to be stronger than the NHL clubs. Also, the symbolic team of the century included 4 players who played in the USSR championships and 2 players who played in the NHL. The six members of the symbolic team were chosen by voting organized by the IIHF. The selection committee included 56 hockey experts from 16 countries in Europe and North America. Symbolic team of the century: Goalkeeper: Vladislav Tretiak (USSR) - 30 votes. Defender: Vyacheslav Fetisov (USSR) - 54 votes. Defender: Börje Salming (Sweden) - 17 votes. Wing: Valery Kharlamov (USSR) - 21 votes. Wing: Sergei Makarov (USSR) - 18 votes. Center forward: Wayne Gretzky (Canada) - 38 votes In connection with the above, the USSR championship can be considered the strongest league in the world!
