I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation. Thank you gentlemen. I love Langa, I can listen to him the whole day. The first time I heard him was on an interview with Thami Ngubeni on Metro, many years ago. I was blown away.... In his interview he touched on sexual purity, and he shared about his journey to marriage. I gained respect for him immediately. At the time, he was one of the few born again men I knew who practiced sexual purity before marriage. I love this brother and his wife. I admire their marriage, I love their convictions and how they have allowed God's Word to have ascendency and supremacy in their lives. God's Word is standard in their lives, and that is visible. May his light continue to shine brighter and brighter for Christ. Thank you Blaque for this platform. More grace to you❤❤
This is what I'm struggling with with my partner and we are not even married yet 😅 soooo hearing from those with experience kinda opens the mind to forward thinking
How do you explain the benefits of marriage to someone who is not a Christian. If we are to be honest, on average majority of married black men are frustrated in their marriage, purpose of life is to live a happy life and most women failed to provide that. STIs are avoidable there are condoms, I don’t believe in demons part some of the married women have demons so if its anything to go by thats something out of our control. Most married men die before those sleeping around. The only thing marriage does is to instil discipline and ofcoz build families atleast those are only benefits I know.
I wonder what made/caused that shift for her in her faith for her to move in a completely different direction. In my observations a lot of people who are deconstructing, experience a disappointment or hurt of some kind where they then struggle to reconcile the faith or God with whatever has caused the rift and the idea that this will somehow work for their good.
How do you realize years later that your wife was not following you? What made her change/ deviate from being a follower of Christ? What exactly did she not like about the church? People don't backslide from serving Christ overnight. It happens overtime. For me, I felt like kukho angakukhulumiyo... Not 100% transparent. As a believer in Christ to other fellow believers. What's your stance on the scriptures about divorcing and remarrying while the other spouse is still alive?
Hey thanks so much for watching. We are not not sure how far you have gotten into the episode. Gonna answer some questions below. - he explains clearly the issues she began to develop with the faith when faced with the new spiritual beliefs she developed and was interested in. - he explains clearly that the backsliding was over the course of a few years and small decisions and concessions that lead to it. - it’s up to him how much he chooses to share we cannot force more. He was already extremely generous - he is remarried so I think his the stance is quite clear please do check out the episode following this one 🙏🏾

"I have found this conversation very beneficial as I navigate through my divorce. It has helped me shape my mindset. Black men need to have these discussions, especially in modern times where women are considered equal to men, and sometimes even have the upper hand. There is a stereotype that we need to overcome in our black culture, and, unfortunately, churches and schools often avoid addressing this truth. They tend to rely on the old ways of living outlined in the Bible, even though times have changed."
