I’m having mine done tomorrow!! Really interesting the bit about the gummy bear implants being banned because my surgeon only offers gummy implants so that is what I will be getting
@@Momma-i8c tbh I’m not sure why but they just said they were fully recalled in Canada but they’re available in other countries! I think it was related to some sort of health concern
@@stephanievargas282 there’s nothing I could have physically done to prepare tbh, but mentally just preparing for mixed emotions during recovery + the possibility of them not looking how you imagine! Im currently 7 months post op have zero regrets at all so its mainly just mentally gearing up for all the things you’ll feel that come with changing a part of yourself lol all the best with your surgery and I’m so excited for you! 💖💖💖🙏🙏
This surgeon sounds like a nightmare!!! The right side numbing probably hurt more because he used the same needle and it was dulled by that time from him using it on your left side first. He popped your implant, too?!?! This story gets worse and worse!!! He should have changed your procedure to have you asleep after he popped it! You never should have been awake for him squeezing the saline out or replacing with a new implant. This is insane! Insane! Your surgeon sounds downright scary. Scary! Scary! After seeing this, I wouldn’t let that surgeon operate on my cat! Capsular contracture is thought to be related to or secondary to contamination of the implant during surgery. Your surgeon was not wearing a full surgical gown during your surgery. I’m beginning to wonder if he even washed his hands. This is not how a reputable surgeon would treat his patient. I hope you don’t end up with some terrible complication or infection.
Honestly… You’ve pointed out so many things I didn’t even realize! Like the fact that he wasn’t wearing the surgical gown 🫣 I didn’t even notice that! And even the part about the needle hurting more on the right side because it was a doll makes so much sense that didn’t even cross my mind. Thank you for all your insight It is very helpful and any future procedures I will go elsewhere LOLL 😂 ❤️
@@EM-qp3zy Thank you!! & you know what…I actually didn’t even think about what would’ve happened if I had been asleep 💀🤣 I hope you have a quick and easy recovery!🙏💖
Victoria secrets is notorious for over sizing compared to other stores. I bought my first set of seamless bras at TJMAXX today at my 2 week mark and I fit perfectly in. 34 C bra which was my goal ❤ but I guarantee if I got sized at Victoria secrets I’d be a D or DD 😑 it’s just the brand sizing differences at Victoria secrets is much different most other stores
Thank you so much for your breast augmentation post-op videos. I’m 3.5 weeks post-op now and have been reassured by your videos. It seems at this stage mine change a little everyday. Swelling is down now and the boob greed is real! I’m starting to get an inframammary fold again and they are getting softer, but I’m so impatient with the general shape. They look oblong to me instead of rounded. I really hope as they drop and fluff they will look rounder. At first everything at the nipple level and below was numb. Now I have hypersensitivity, where normal touch feels like sandpaper. This is definitely a patience thing!
This made me smile sooo much because I know how scary some of the stages are so I'm happy my videos could help❤❤❤❤ Everything changes non stop and the shape is one of the things that changes so much every month so just trust the process & don't stress! I hope the rest of your recovery goes amazing 🙏❤
Sheri strips for 1 year is massively wild. It’s 6 weeks tops. Mine come off 14 days post! Also I met with the surgeon on each appointment. That’s annoying that you didn’t speak to him multiple times! So what’s the deal are they fixing it??
Your scars were gone after 6 weeks??? That's amazing!❤Mine are slowly getting there but definitely not gone just yettt lol and I have my 6 month post op in 2 days so I'm going to discuss it more...because if I go through with fixing them then my warranty would be void! So it's made my decision so much more difficult :(
Thank you so much Chantelle for such an informative video! It honestly was so helpful and it answered a lot of questions I had about Breast Augmentation ☺️ I can’t wait to one day get mine done 🥳
I’m going to be posting an update next weekend but the difference in size is slowly improving now that I’m at 3.5 months! I still want to get one implant increased because I want 100% symmetry lol but it’s not AS noticeable as time goes on! 🩷
I’m in my 4th week and omg it’s been an emotional rollercoaster. Some days I’m so glad I did it (waited over 10 years for this) and some days I regret it. Mine are still high and I’m not liking how my left one looks either. 🤞🏼 ours settle and calm our worries!
I feel like not enough people talk about the emotional part of it!! I literally went into a mini depression at one point lol but now it’s a few months later & I’m sooo happy I did it no regrets & I hope you get to that stage too. Don’t worry it’s still so early and things change drastically by 3 months! I didn’t believe it but they really begin to look semi normal by then 🩷🩷🩷
That would be a good idea! You will have time to order some because you can’t change the one they provide for you for at least a week 😇 BUT it could also be a good idea to wait incase you change your mind on size last minute lolll
Not sure if you already made that purchase but I would wait on the bras. I would’ve ordered a size 36 myself considering the bra I normally wear, but they put me in a 38. With Amazon you can get them so quickly so it’s not really worth potentially wasting the money imo.
Of course 🩷 Silicone looks/feels more natural, but I chose saline because in the event of a rupture it’s safer! Saline is just liquid that disperses itself but silicone would require surgery to scrape it all out
I also had my boobs done last year so its so nice seeing someone else go through what I did! I remember waking up randomly being in so much pain and not knowing where it was coming from! I also felt like mine were so small in the beginning haha its crazy how quickly you start to feel like yourself again but those first few days are rough haha glad you're doing better!!
No one told me but now that I’m aware, just thought I’d pass it along… please look into Bii. I got mine done and was fine for about 2 years then the symptoms came rolling in. The worst part about Bii is that no test can detect it! The body alarm is going off but all readings and tests come back clear. Getting mine removed and can’t wait. I do hope all goes well for you but please look into it so if you do see any signs you will know exactly where it’s coming from.
Thank you for this comment & yes this message is sooo important! They talked about it during my consult so I know that’s a huge risk BUT they told me if BII symptoms do start once you remove the implants the symptoms go away almost immediately. Is this true in your experience?
@@3ll3ayy I don’t have the answer for that yet, but that is my absolute and full expectation! I will definitely keep you updated and I fully intend on doing an explant video! The last 5 years have been a nightmare and I NEVER would have thought that the implants were the reason. It all seemed unrelated. I hate that this life lesson came this way but im over the moon excited to truly love me and take back my life.
My doctor discussed it with me and I believe since I’m older I have a better sense of my body, headache triggers etc. If I had went in at age 20 and had my normal age 30+ symptoms now (which are post m birth and hereditary) I would ABSOLUTELY say BII cause it’s all the same cluster of symptoms! So not only discuss with doctors but have a good clear baseline of your personal health NOW, triggers allergies all that before going into something like this!
@@persiaperez909 That's great advice...to really take note of how my body feels in a healthy state so I can recognize if things start to feel off. Thank you again for sharing and any other updates are always welcome! I'm praying for you and wish you full recovery and health 🙏❤
P.S. my sides only evened out with aggressive massage!!! The capsule/muscle will soften on your right hand dominant side. If you do not massage you will need more surgery and you will have to massage. I’m skinnier so my doctor overfilled my implants to help with the edge around the implants looking a bit unnatural. My doctor special ordered mentor implants that were ultra high profile. You also forego your mentor warranty if they adjust the volume if you bought the insurance so you’re out of that coverage 😬😬😬
WOOOOOOOW I had no idea about that warranty part…..if you could only see my face right now I’m actually in sick I’ll def have to ask the surgeons about this because why did no one mention this to me?! THANK YOU THANK YOU 🙏🩷
You’re black too so if you get hypertrophic scarring (appears after ~6 months) you can use cordran tape but it’s prescription only and quite expensive. If you don’t do massage you’ll get capsular contracture at 6-7 months when the capsules set. I’m a bit thinner than you but my implants are much bigger and my boobs were non existent 😢. I went under muscle so could breastfeed. Kinda wish I’d gotten mini implants like this 😢. You may be able to disregard this bc yours are smaller and you are bigger so less trauma.
Thanks for reminding me why massages are important lmao there’s so many different rules/info sometimes I forget the real reason why we do things 😅 🩷& personally I wish I went bigger now that they’re settling in but they didn’t really give me a choice of bigger lol and yes so true and keloid skin is big in my family so I’m really hesitant of cutting open the incisions again…..
May you please mention your height, your implant size in cc, high or low or moderate, body weight, I'm just tryna see my options, I know bodies are different but just getting different perspectives helps, I wanna get mine this year so I would appreciate it.
@@theemapsmash sure I’m 5’7, 110lbs, I got high profile 345cc on the left and 300cc on the right. If I could offer any advice it’s don’t get different sized implants because the entire width/height is different and it’s the things I regret most (unless it’s absolutely necessary lol)
