15 years ago! I wonder what other models Bauer (if it's still in business) made. ANd at what scales. 1:18 is impressive detail for this model, but imagine if they made a 1:8 version.

Hello - While I haven't seen this model in person, I can say that I've always been amazed at CMC's level of detail and finish. I have never seen models that were done so thoroughly well - and that still gave the collector a great sense of the work that went into making them.
I have a 1/24 scale, Franklin mint 1925 model T roadster and somehow the rod that runs in between the two front wheels that ties them together so they turn together snapped. It makes me so sad because now you can’t turn the wheels and it Hass to be posed in one certain way on display.
Boy, I tell you I’d love to have one of them things if it didn’t have such bad problems with the tires I think I might get the 57 Belair. I don’t think that one has the tire problems.
Hi thanks for sharing. 1/43 volkswagon diecast repair. Van fell, mirror was ok but door got bent, so I'm assuming I use heat to straighten it. The added isssue is that there is a dent on the outside of door, what do You recommend using to to fill it? Thanks /Rosemary
I do wish you were doing diecast reviews Joe! You definitely had the best insights and descriptions of the models and what went into making them. Other review channels have profilerated and are decent, but lack the knowlege you brought. Anyway, great song and wish you merry Christmas!

3:00 The steel wire was not to hold the car together, it was to keep fasteners from loosening due to vibration (wire was used instead of cutter pins, which was a heavier solution).
Hi Joe, my name is Chuck and I have a question for you, but I'm worried about bothering you. I'll continue, and if this is an annoyance, then just disregard. My question is about the: Danbury Mint 1930's Cadillac V-16 Roadster You did a video on you tube about it and I have watched a few other vids about it, however, the model is aging badly, and everything I have seen shows the rubber tires badly decomposed and falling off the car's rims due to expansion of the material. My question is: have you ever ran in to this, and are there replacement tires out ther to fix the problem? I really want to purchase one, there are quite a few out there (a lot cheaper than I would have expected. Probably due to this defect.) Do you have a possible solution?
