Hmm I think I may know who the whiskey tuber that crapped on his product but at the same time he’s the one that got me into trying dettling with one of his newer videos. I have three store picks and just picked up a bottle in bond.

@@Celtics2025 I won’t disagree with you on that, but this one is really good in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, I really like a lot affordable whiskey and I despise what secondary and allocation has done to the price of whiskey. Unfortunately, if we don’t get lucky and find this stuff at affordable prices we are stuck with the decision of paying for it or doing without. So I try to appreciate each persons decision at that point. Yet I wish all whiskey was msrp. Thank you for commenting. Cheers 🥃
I have the Isaac Bowman. It's really good. This has been on my hunt list for a while. Only has dropped once in Ohio as it has recently become a product we receive, but I've heard it's super allocated and only drops like 2 or 3 times a year.
@@noworldforeric so unfortunate. Alabama allocates some of the strangest bottles also. Like Eagle Rare and standard BT. I despise the allocation process.
@@BrewtallyHonestBourbon it’s all good. It’s fun for me. I enjoy it all. I’ve learned so much. Traveled so many places already. Met some cool people. And scored some cool bottles. And I’m not flipping. Every bottle I have that isn’t a backup is opened in my collection. Every single one. And there are some I don’t like that people love! It’s all in the fun of personal preference at the end of the day.
Really appreciate you watching and commenting. Means a lot! Please be sure to share the page if you enjoy the content. Looking to grow in order to reach as many folks as possible as I promote these brands. Especially the smaller craft brands. I want to learn about them all and hopefully share them with the masses.
Dettling is special. My favorite bourbon of 2024. Spillway picks were my fist ones and I couldn’t believe what I was tasting. Please please let me in on how I can get a gold top. I’m in MS, so no ship but I can drive.
@@jmartinez4460 it is. When I first posted it, the intro was shotty recording from my phone that I felt turned viewers off in the first few seconds. So I removed that part of the video is all.
@@jameswilson6770 thank you so much. Truly appreciate you watching. Please let others know about us. 😊 Our primary goal is to grow our following to a point we make the biggest impact for these brands as we share about them.
Great video bro! I'm definelty liking what Dettling is doing and would be awesome to get more of their products. I keep hearing about the Gold top, is that a distillery exclusive only? Cheers!
@@TheBloody81 hey man. Appreciate your continued support and comments. So the Gold wax is the top 1% that is a personal pick by Seth. These are sold the same way as the others, just so few in quantity. I bought mine in Alabama at an ABC for $125+tax. There will be more coming out next year. I will do my best to keep everyone updated when I know more. Cheers 🥃
@@MaryS-go8dl thanks for watching. I agree it is one of my favorites as well. There will be more gold coming out in 2025. Hopefully we are all lucky enough to score one.
I paid 120 last year for my Thomas H Handy. It’s really good. Things to consider is that each year is a different batch with the BTAC bottles. Retail on TH Handy was actually 125 last year. Not much more than the Whiskey Thief. However, it’s a definite unicorn. I would love to try that Whiskey Thief for sure.
Congrats my friend, keep up the hard work. My grandfather came from the middle east MANY YEARS AGO and had a grocery/liquor store in Detroit michigan for over 50yrs 👍❤💯
Went there about a month ago. Good selection, a little high on allocated stuff, but I like their barrel picks. I picked up an Obtainium 11 yr store pick that is fantastic.
Some prices were a bit high but a decent selection. That Huling station is a bottle during the outbreak they had a hard time getting the square bottle. Big fan of Redwood empire and the JD Sinatra is just a marketing thing and not worth the up charge in my opinion and I liked Sinatra. Yellowstone is not a brand I've tried yet same with High West though the single malt from Yellowstone is peaking my interest. Great video. Enjoy 🥃🥃🥃
@@umami0247 agreed. Feel sure they will work with you on pricing. Super nice. Good to know about the HS! Yes RWE is great. JD Sinatra is okay, but wouldn’t buy again personally. High West is one I need to open and try. Just opened a Boulder 2024 Cask and a barrel pick Green River Single barrel. Both are outstanding. You can order Boulder from their website. $105ish. Thanks. Appreciate the support.
@@ALaw-Fights4theusers that sounds right. What organization did he mention that did the blind? California something? I have a RU-vid where I blinded T.H. handy against Whiskey Theif rye. Pretty shocking imo
@@BrewtallyHonestBourbon “whiskies of the world” not familiar with that one. Only really know of 2 fred minnicks and San Francisco World Competition. Just have to try it sometime myself. Only had one Redwood Empire and it was alright, too expensive for the seasonal releases.
Man that Dettling pick is amazing and definitely want to get more of his products. I have a RR15 and that to me was good, but the price though. Cheers!
@@TheBloody81 agreed. I totally respect what goes into whiskey, especially 15yr juice, but $300-$500 is wild. Dettling uses top quality ingredients and still under $130 for gold.
I don’t even have the gold wax, I have the spillway picks and I’m blown away with Dettling. I took my first one home and tried it….went back and bought 2 more.
