The thing is Em cheated on her first. He cheated when he was 18 and they weren't married then but they were in a relationship. After marriage ( Hailey was born already) , Kim cheated on him. So both were toxic for each other. The only good thing that came out of the relationship was Haliey, ig and Em really loves her but Kim and Em were never meant to be.
I wish he treated Kim with the same love he did Hailey. He knew how to be attentive, bht he obviously had a hard time reconciling being a loving husband.
They were both toxic. He even said they lyrics “not bad people just bad together” I don’t condone his half of the abuse but they abused each other. And he still cares for her and even helps her financially nowadays
