Never even thought about that, yeah that is rather odd. The nice thing though is that I bought this through Sweetwater and they have a decent warranty for the products they carry should anything come up. Thank you for stopping by and checking out the video!
Thanks for stopping by! Since having this for a bit now, it’s by far been the best keybed I’ve ever played on! Such a great tool, how have you been liking yours? The string plugin is by Performance Samples and called String Ensemble. There is a freebie version on their site however the paid version allows you into more articulations and solo instruments. If you go for the paid route, wait till Black Friday because all of their products go for roughly 75% off habitually.
@@TheEaglesRage Thank you for responding to my message 😀. My s88 hasn't arrived yet (unfortunately😅) but I can say that I really like your video and that make me a little impatient to get my hands on it🤣. I bought the Komplete 14 Ultimate and I saw that the String ensemble (essentials) is included. I don't know if I will need the full version to have the same result as you...
@@bushigreg Im glad you enjoyed it, I was trying to keep my first impressions as raw as possible when I was unboxing it. Overall it was definitely worth the price in my opinion, especially since keys are my main go to instrument. When yours comes in, the feeling is unreal when setting it up. The plugin I was using was a 3rd party plugin however the stock Kontakt libraries are pretty good as well depending on what you are doing.
Hey thanks for stopping by! So it was a bit of an adjustment coming from a semi weighted keyboard such as my Alesis VI61. Immediately I noticed I had to really put extra effort into my playing which was kinda a double edged sword. On one hand I love the control I have to be able to really articulate my notes but at the same time I was slowed way down due to moving onto a fully weighted key bed. This issue is at no fault to the keyboard at all and is more towards my playing ability of course, but there was definitely an an adjustment period. Having the S88 for a bit now, I have come to enjoy all the features this controller allows and really feel that it was a great asset to my musicianship. As far as hand strain, I haven’t personally came across anything crazy. If you have experience playing a traditional acoustic piano it feels identical.
Oh that’s so awesome, And thank you! How was the course? I know when we implemented our own audio into a couple of video games it gave me a newfound appreciation to how much work actually goes into all the AAA games out there.
@@Breezy81 Oh nice! Smooth sailing or has it had its fair share of bumps in the road. On the music production side, once we really got going with our degree there were a few months there that really tested my patience lol.
@@TheEaglesRage It's been smooth sailing but the math course I almost lost it and quit school but my godmother stayed up late with me to help me pass it. But I've had my moments too with a course here or there. So I feel you lol.
This is so cool i am jealous that is so dope man the bag of candy was funny 🤣 great production big like from us budd 🙌🏼 have a great memorial day Eagles Rage 🙏🏼
lol thanks man, this thing is a beast and one hell of an upgrade from what I was using. Im glad you enjoyed my unboxing and I hope you have a safe and fun rest of your memorial day weekend!
Hey I hope you are having an awesome day! So this class was Sequencing Technologies when I had to create this piece more specifically our final deliverable for that month. I know there were talks of some of the classes getting restructured after my group went through, so it could be possible that this assignment may got merged into your class if this topic looks familiar to you. How have your studies been? I hope you are trucking along just fine.
@@TheEaglesRage I actually realized that after I sent the first message. When I realized it was Logic and not Pro Tools. I finished up Sequencing Technology last month and am on the Audio Workstations class now. Looking forward to getting into ProTools a bit. You have an awesome day as well, and by the way...thank you for your service.
@@Code_Red_Studios Thank you so much! I personally dislike using protools but, that class was awesome! Especially because there are so many ways to manipulate literally everything in that DAW which I appreciated all the instructors showcasing the many possible workflows.
Thank you a ton brother! This one should be getting polished out this evening. Was definitely fun to play with genres outside of my norm on top of going back to the early 2000's sound.
Thanks guy. It took me a while to find a vid related to this class (particularly in audio). I'm about to take it and I am doing my research. Wish me luck.
