Ironically enough, our machines are more fragile than us. They need maintenance, extreme care, protection from the elements, a constant power source, constant repairs if used in hostile environments, refills on liquid depending on its systems, and yes all these things apply to us humans as well but while the machines have to create something to deal with these struggles, we were molded, formed, and evolved around these struggles. We are designed for it.
There is no truth in flesh Only betrayal There is no strength in flesh Only weakness There is no constancy in flesh Only decay There in no certainty in flesh But death
Omnisiah bless us with another rockin Soundtrack. Omnisiah annoint us with both mechanicus and necron campaigns. Omnisiah grant us multiplayer PVP mode. Omnisiah grace us with more halarious Scaevola lines.
the unearthed tracks generally fit the theme of this game so much better than the original soundtrack... lost in space lightyears from a devastated home, hope dwindling, terrors everywhere and scarcity of necessities... not a fun place to be...
This is the sound I most strongly associate with the game... that intense pressure and the worry about whether it'll get alright... resources dwindling as the unmined astroids get farther and farther away... the ghosts of a thousand unopened pods haunting the sectors... and then this horrifying ambience
I really wish I was machine too. Imagine not needing to eat, sleep or get diseases. you can go to space or underwater and no animal will harm you. wish this comes soon in real life
Well it wasn't my fault...I am The Administrator... was on a coffee break during the "lunaclysm" must've been Eden work( best possible catastrophic name ever tbh )...she is crazy we know that 😅
here's something from Guillaume (Composer / High-Priest of Sound): "The firstly I used a "pitch bend modulation" to change the speed and/or the tone of his voice, and then try a distortion effect for guitar (in VST or with a real guitar pedal). Just with these two effects he can get closer to the voice sound of Mechanicus."
I did three obsessive playthroughs. The third I was a horrible tyrant with propaganda blasting from every corner, people living off limited rations from algae watered with their own waste and they still loved me.
"Remember, Vargard, any equipment you leave behind on a mission is likely to have been claimed by Overlord Trazyn before your return. Select your loadout with care."
Cyberpunk: "Too many implants will drive you insane!" *Meanwhile in 40k* "Brb gonna replace my arm with a Melta Gun and have an anti-air cannon linked to my brain"
It's unfortunate that the pounding bass elements drown out the melodic voices so much it's hard to find the right volume for this. too loud for the bass, too soft for the melody...
David Martinez: <Goes crazy bc he put on too much robot bits> Archmagos Davidius Martinus: _What my... Counterpart here neglected to realize was that it was not a matter of... Too much "chrome" but rather... well, Not enough._ <He scuttles off, with a swarm of servo-skulls tied to balloon strings, all of which eerily reminiscent of the fallen Edgerunners.>
