I was at this race as a kid and i walked to the track and paid 20 cents to get in

what a stupid rule of the time , requiring the cars to carry a spare wheel ! the ferrari has its strapped across the back , Matich has his under the windscreen , above his legs !

is it me or the lotus is much bigger than the ferrari?

thats probably why drivers these days dont have live-to-air communication . Imagine if golden boy craig lowndes dropped THAT live to air !

chris amon taking the battle right up to jim clark . with the 2.5 litre cars used in the tasman series , driving the V6 dino ferrari , he won the tasman series in 1969 , the new zealand GP in 68-69 and the australian GP in 69 . Back into Ferrari 3 litre GP V12 cars , he never won a GP in three years of trying .

This is a video-clip to be treasured. One of Jimmy Clark's last races and his final visit to Australia for the Tasman Cup. A couple of month's later and he suffered his fatal accident at Hockenheim.
