This customer provided their own mattress which was on the light side and no bed coverings. The bed does stay down. If mattress is too light, we add weights if needed.
This was made from Boat board material, a UV resistant, heavy-duty material which comes in a variety of colors. We used gas pistons, which we also use on the murphy beds we build. This unit also features a custom pull-down bar to access the top of the cabinet to close the cabinet when the TV is stored away. We built and installed. We build to order and do not ship.
