I have been thinking maybe after performing few part replacement and servicing, you guys could modify n locate a filter n dryer in incoming line before the compressor part. I think you could simply get it from the store n the desecant can be replace periodically and manually by the owner it self. I knew a lot of the refrigirator design doesn't designed to have its own filter n dryer part but when you had found something that is not good, just make an improvement towards it.
