At 1:03:00, you mentioned that 90% of QAs don't ask about business use cases or their impact. However, in Salesforce, we can't test any use case without understanding its business impact and we always ask about the business use case. I'm sure all Salesforce QAs will agree with this.
meanwhile you can watch this video also ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J9J8CyYx8SA.html in this video i have shared my experience and perception about testing in the ecosystem of salesforce.
Thank you for bringing up this important question. Your background not being in programming isn't an issue at all. You can absolutely kickstart your career within the Salesforce ecosystem. Learning Salesforce is quite feasible, and securing a job isn't solely about theory; practical experience is key. So, be prepared to dive into hands-on practice to solidify your skills. However, I'm curious: what specific profile are you aiming for as you venture into Salesforce?
Okay, first explore the official website of Salesforce, i.e., salesforce.com. After thoroughly exploring the website, you will get to know about so many things, including types of roles, clouds, and many more. Then you will definitely get some very fine ideas about all these things. And as far as training is concerned, Trailhead is fair enough to learn about Salesforce. And don't be in a hurry to buy any course directly. It's my humble request from you.
Thanks for asking this question. Actually it is a very important question also. But to be very frank Salesforce has no dedicated certification for testing. Yes you can make your career in QA. Even in the interview no one will be asking from you regarding the particular Salesforce testing certificate. You are already ADMIN level certified i.e best enough.
@@SalesforceTestingGuy Thanks for your Response on my question, Do manual testing is enough to enter into QA or should I learn any automation testing for QA role, If yes what automation testing is mostly used in Salesforce QA...
@@krishna1085 Absolutely, To be frank, there's nothing called Manual Testing anymore. Mastering Testing Basics is pivotal, especially in the Salesforce Ecosystem. Once you feel confident, you can seamlessly transition to automation. But remember, clarity in testing basics is paramount. Keep honing those skills!
@@krishna1085 you are at the right place something new os one the way. Content is also ready final editing is just pending. Please stay tuyned for further updates.
Hi, you are 100 percent correct. To be very frank, there is no direct correlation between the SDET role and Salesforce QA. However, there are a few commonalities such as the testing approach and collaboration with developers. Just to clarify, are you specifically inquiring if I am a Salesforce QA?
