Join us for gameplay and discussion about a range of card games; although let’s face it, we are primarily a Flesh and Blood TCG channel at this point!
We’ve got everything from cube building and alter painting to Armory event gameplay and deck builds.
FaB & Chill: A series exploring everything related to casual gaming. From kitchen table gameplay, casual formats and cube building to painting alter art cards.
Competitive Gameplay: Gameplay footage from local organised events.
FaB 4 Less: Deck techs and budget buys to help players compete and build their collections on a budget.
Jank Bank: Experimental deck builds exploring new or unusual strategies.
😂 It’s only an Armory so no judges. Ian and Chris and all of us guys have played into each other a lot so the table talk might be a little….’loose!’ He’s a nice guy IRL, I promise!!
Hey mate, this is my list. I don’t have it on Fabrary. I can put it on if you want although with Enigma and these Runeblades running amok, Midrange Rippers probably isn’t the build to go for.
Yeah he mentioned he sideboarded wrong so that he has to use the AB head. Still Teklo would be great currently with CYB if Enigma wouldnt exist. So, while I hate Enigma I am also happy that with her CYB decks arent as bad. Especially CYB Teklo
I see 2 major misplay on transformation : 2 attacks are coming back in the deck from graveyard + the hero card stays under the transformation so that it can be banish when attack
Ah man, didn’t accidentally bin off the shroom at dusk!? That’s one of my fave cards too. Loving this game at the moment minute. Got some more gameplay and other content planned for this game so stay tuned!
Ian accidentally took two damage on an ab 3 attack at 11:15, where he blocked 2. Should have only taken 1. Would have changed the outcome of the game. Great content. Love the videos.
after running numbers a bit, it looks like the head shot being listed twice was likely an error. there are 55 of Guardian and Warrior cards, but 58 Ranger and 53 Runeblade. the total number comes to 361, instead of a round 360. adding three too many Ranger cards and missing two Runeblade would bring it to 360. :)
Yeah, it’s not a singleton cube. Although in Magic cubes many are singleton, I felt this significantly detracted from the play experience in FaB and there just wasn’t the volume of different cards available for heroes when I built this cube to make it singleton. I wanted to create the most fun draft experience possible so there are multiples of the high demand cards. For example, no one wants to draft sink below blue but everyone wants sink below red so there are multiples of the high demand cards and I don’t think sink below blue is even in the list.
Hey, thanks for letting us know. Chris played a lot of Dromai in CC but hasn’t played it since it LL’d so that probably explains him being a little rusty. Having said that, I will let him know that his play is sloppier than a soup sandwich!
Yeah i missed 1 ash at the start but that only came up on the last turn cycle when i then had 0 when I should of had 1. As for the dustup mishap i genuinely dont know how that happened and can't give you a reason, big oopsie on my part there!
It’s not got a great deal of competitive integrity during this current format I’ll give you that. But there have been periods in the past that Blitz has been fun and competitive. Not all formats are for everyone, but games are for enjoying however people enjoy them.
Yeah, he’s an absolute menace. I can’t understand why the same bans for Bonds weren’t applied to Bltiz. It would still be busted but might be slightly less busted.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. Not sure what the issue is with understanding the video but the link to the list is in the description. The video is a few months old now but the list should still stand up pretty well. Bear in mind that the prices of some cards will have fluctuated though.
Great video!! I just bought the game I like it I am at the stage where when I play I still have to look up every little thing but your video definitely helped . Are you still playing a year after ?
@@marselmj5830 Hi, yeah, we still play every now and again. We go through stages of playing every week and then having a break from it. I would like to make more content for Ashes but I’ve been super busy lately. Hopefully at some point I’ll get back to it though. The game is great. Thanks for the positive comments.
😂 The lighting is a bit strange in these ones. Our LGS was having some building work done and we played in a different room to where we played previously. #nofilter 😂
Before Nathan played the Hyper Scrapper he maybe should have used the Teklo Foundry Heart to gain 1 more resource, so he is able to atk for 11 and maybe win, if there is no more Defense Reaction in Tom´s Arsenal.
Ah thanks man. I’ll check that out. I’ve been playing a dreadbore build mainly so still adjusting to the DD and new horizons. My play is pretty sloppy at the best of times and I appreciate that it’s probably frustrating to watch. it will take me a while to adjust, I’m trying though!
The first tome of Fyendal wasn’t played from arsenal. Nathan shouldn’t have gained the 5 lives. It doesn’t change the result of this game though :) This hero requires such a discipline. I have an hard time to play IRL after training on Talishar 😅
Hi, thanks for your comments. I’d like to make more cube content but recently time has been the issue there. I’ve been drumming up some more interest locally in playing more cube so hopefully we’ll get some gameplay and more content for cube soon.
I think 2 and 4 player cube is perfect for FaB, whats the reception been for this two-bert since its debut here? Would oove to see more cube/limited content.
So zNazreth is an ally like Dromai’s dragons but it’s not made of ash so Nazreth doesn’t have phantasm so can’t be ‘popped’ when defended by 6 power attacks. That means to destroy it you have to attack into it. It doesn’t have spectra like the illusionist auras so the link on the combat chain still resolves. Tom needs to deal 6 damage to destroy it so he attacks with a stealth attack and then uses Uzuri’s attack reaction ability to ‘cheat in’ Death Touch (because death touch needs to be played from arsenal but Uzuri allows it to be played from banished as an attack reaction). This is now dealing 6 damage and then he uses his snap dragon scalers zwhich can give the death touch to again. Then the damage resolved dealing 6 to Nazreth and he regains his action point from the go again to continue the chain. All good here! 😅
Great gameplay. However Death Dealer cannot load an arrow if he has a face up arrow already. 6:00 he has a drill shot in arsenal and resolved dd despite it.
Massive misplays at the 23-24 minute mark. The Might token was created on the defensive through using Apex BoneBreaker and Savage Feat to block the turn before. It wasn't popped at the start of the BRB turn to make the claw 6 power, Dori should have lost 1hp there. Then the Might token was re-created through discarding Beast Within.
@@cardboard_swords And angels, yeah. We just need to be careful about flipping them at the right time. 9 heralds of Triumph should do the work. Also getting their max velocity as popper is very good. Tough match up though! ps: Consider to use Dream Weavers instead of Goliath. Sometime we just need an herald to not pop in order to get tempo
Hi, so at the start of the game, each player reveals their hero. You then roll off to see who gets the choice of going first or second. You then have time for sideboarding where you present your equipment and weapons and a minimum 60 card deck. These are the items that start on board. I don’t tend to show the sideboarding part because, well, it’s boring! So the footage starts at before the first player takes an action on the first turn of the game. Flesh and Blood is different to a lot of games in that you start at your strongest. You have all of your equipment to block with or use, you have all of your cards in your deck and you are at full strength. As you go through the duel you use your armour, your cards deplete and you generally become weaker which is why making sure you pitch some late game threats to the bottom of your deck is sometimes essential to get you over the line and finish the fight. I hope this helps a little.
Looks like it was wound back - Tom didn't have the resources to spill blood, bracers, and attack again with the axe, without using the tunic counter, so it was adjusted to 5 dominate - 2 base, +1 from the axe, +2 from spill blood.
@@rodwajejr2342 It's a trigger when Bare Fangs attack, rather than an additional cost. Massacre would trigger from something like Alpha Rampage where the discard is part of the cost of the card.
Massacre triggers when discarded as an additional cost (Savage Feast, Wrecker Romp, Alpha Rampage, the Beat Chest attacks etc). Cards like Wild Ride, Pulping and Bare Fangs have NO additional cost. They just have a trigger effect that discards a card when they attack (after they're placed into the Combat Chain).
