Hey Pablo, love your channel. Could you put out Love is Automatic alone? The version that already here on You Tube is overprosessed, your version is much better sound.
As a musician, it makes feel a bit better witnessing my favorite band relatably struggling with sound guy issues. Definitely know what it's like when a festival sound guy can't give you anything you're asking for. Yet, the sound does sound really good here in the video!
Saw Ravi Shankar with Alla Rakka, sorry for mispronounced name . It was in Antwerp, it was in the 1980's early 90s. Magical ,beautiful and profoundly spiritual.
I had the same experience with asking to go to boarding school at12 to get away from homefront problems. Where i started playing bass and singing a lot in the school band and l8r in other bands. Music was a positive thing to me all through my life. Thanks for the music Crispian.
I know that "underrated" gets thrown around a lot but damn. They were so f*xkin cool, and they had the tunes. That voice, those riffs... It all felt so effortlessly perfect. It's really a shame that they didn't get more recognition.
how come this video was uploaded 5 years ago and there's only 4 comments?! thanks a lot for sharing, I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially that part where these *very polite* guys give each other characteristics 😁
Mad respect for this band! "Underrated" has become a cliche, but seriously, Kula Shaker have never received the recognition they deserved. You can see they LOVE music & performing, this along is priceless
The 90s was the last decade that rocked live music wise. I think everything seemed to change around the time of the overuse of portable technology and X-factor.
A lot of it had to do with the change in the way music was consumed too - downloading and streaming replaced buying actual physical copies (CDs and vinyl).
@@johnnycalvino7490 More so streaming I think, there are music consumers that are never away from the internet. When I first started downloading - Napster, Kazaa, AudioGalaxy - I burnt music to CDRs, Even when Mp3 players came out (which I still use when on the move) the process of listening was (is) still without the need for streaming.
@@johnnycalvino7490 Yes, once upon a time it took effort to save money and go to a physical shop to buy physical music and then put in effort to listen to it. Recently everything has been so throwaway. Attention spans have also decreased.
As I've always said, Kula Shaker were better than Oasis and Blur. Politics destroyed their career, and ignorance of efforts of teaching symbology. They're soooooo much better than Oasis and Blur. It's a conspiracy, I tells yer.
I've always had a sneaking suspicion that Pablo Lagos is actually Crispian Mills. Dude had access to demos for "Natural Magick" tracks that hadn't been released yet. How is that possible?
