Welcome (back) to Smack Talk! This is where we (Austin and Jared) make content about whatever we want to make it about! (We tried this a while ago, but now we're back, we're soooooo back!). For now we're posting random variety videos here and there, but we hope to have a fully fleshed out schedule soon.
If you like what we're doing here, we could do it a lot more with support for our Patreon! We will continue to add goals and benefits there for you guys to enjoy.
Interesting idea but there are more considerations such as deck building cost and snap equity that would change the rankings of these cards. Black panther for example has negative snap equity because it is pretty obvious what power you are gonna get making it easy to retreat when its winning which is why BP is seen nowhere in the meta. Captain America forces you to run an ongoing list and cerebro forces you to run 2 power/ 3 power list which is a deck building cost lowering the ceiling of your deck compared to other dekcs so negative points there as well
Yes! I think that’s good language, and something I knew but wasn’t saying well. I think that’s another reason why ant-man, mojo, and martyr are also S tier cards because they still have an unsuspecting element to them. Your opponent might believe they can handle the state of the board because the power is “invisible” so to speak. I’m planning on making another, hopefully better video around this topic, and I will certainly use your input. Thank you!
