Hi! This is where I post my various themed playthroughs/builds of Soulsborne games and Elden Ring. For me, the most important thing about a challenge run in Dark Souls is the fun factor! So my challenges are usually focused more on the fun than the viability or even difficulty of the challenge itself. Dark Souls games have a reputation for being really hard games, but I will show you that even the worst players (me) can make wacky builds, and with a little perseverance, beat the game with them!
Thanks for the video, you're kinda cracked tbh. I was hoping to see the gravity bolt and frozen lightning blade weapon arts but alas. Either way the commitment is bonkers, ER is a huge game. BTW, do you think you'll do a DS2 impersonator/doppelganger run at some point?
I can’t believe you didn’t swap the hatchet and needle lmao, the aoe weapon on the speedy single guy and the speedy thrust sword on the mob boss. otherwise great video and I enjoyed the irony anyhow
I think doing another weapon materials run might be interesting in ER since the DLC came out, could probably use the same rules here with dungeon and other "smaller" bosses being exempt from the one-off weapon rule since theres so many of them But always love to see another upload from Eleum Loyce!!!!! I cant even begin to imagine how much work goes into one of these vids
This is a super cool concept and run! It’s cool to see challenge runs in souls that aren’t just using no armor or no leveling or whatever but unique concepts
How do you come up with these ideas? Usually I don't prefer watching these kind of longer videos but your content is always banger. Been binge watching them for the last couple of days.
This is probably going to be a weird compliment, but this gives me the same cozy feeling as watching How It's Made reruns as a kid. I love how chill you are <3
Hatsune Miku really busted ass on this run, major props! Ggs, though, for real. It’s easy to forget how punishing this game is at regular difficulty, not to mention NG+2, so well played 🤙
I just remember, there is a french artists called Sophie Calle, whom challenge herself to use only objects which matches colour, foods, clothes, maybe it was fun just like this
Interesting run. Here's some things I noticed >> Has issue with Red Wolf >> Doesn't have it on screen 50% of the time despite lock on existing >> Spamming R1 without going back too neutral >> Wonders why game wouldn't let a riposte happen
I always change into cold weather gear for the Snowfields so I think I'll give this challenge a try sometime. I might not necessarily do colors so much as wearing gear practical to each region (like face coverings to reduce rot exposure in Caelid) though.
While I admit, killing Midra with the scorpion dagger is quite the flex, there's a lot more orange weapons and armor in this game than you gave it credit for: the Crucible sets, Ordovis's sword, Devonia's hammer, and the serpent god curved sword.
Yeah, you're right! They have a rusty color that does look orange enough, plus the gargoyle weapons could have worked since they do have some orange-ish corpse wax on them
