I’m struggling… Jesus has saved my life… I am a totally different person because of his guidance… but I feel the church I attend is all about money… thats all they talk about… I am married with 2 children and do not want to loose them… or my wife, but she continues to drag our family into debt because she works for the church, doesn’t get paid half the time and gives 1/3 of whatever she does make back to the church, she thinks that she can have whatever she says, but can’t pay for it and our family ends up suffering for it… idk what to do… I love god and am thankful for what he has done in my life and I feel that greed has taken my church leaders… I’m torn… lost, confused… why does my family suffer while the pastors family lives a lavish life of travel and Louie Vuitton and filet mignon every night… on a 150 acre ranch paid for all by the church (our church is around 30 families maybe)
I’m sorry to hear about this. I’m not sure what the update is now. But God would never want His people to be taken advantage of like that. That is not true followers of Christ. I hope you found a church that looks after you and your family!

I love your post it is so true..i love when.God answers prayers BIG and Small...i just have to share just such a Prayer...a few months ago I wanted to go.old school worship..and.i had.the face in my mind of this Song i used to listen to all the time..i could not remember the song or who sung it...it drove.me out of my mind..lol...but atlas i just kept asking.God.to please help me find.this.singer.and.song...but to make.a really long.story shorter ...i would just keeping on with new songs that spoke to.me...i had sugery.a few days ago..And by God's Amazing. GRACE..he kept me...so on this early morning i just wanted to worship and.give him the.GLORY....and after listening to a couple.songs.and just feeling his love.and arms.around me. I was just scrolling down.and. just.broke down to the depths of my.heart. I SAW THE PRAYER I WAS ASKING GOD.FOR..WAS RIGHT THERE.. like i said it was the SIMPLEST OF PRAYERS. I am in 😭... this song is very, very speacial to me. God brought me to this world to worship him! To give him HONOR! To LIFT HIS NAME FOREVER! This song has a remarkable history in my life that I won’t never forget. In 2010 I was alone with my kids, I was facing a very difficult situation, being rejected by many people, being humiliated, condemned, judged, I was facing a very difficult financial situation as well, going to College full time, driving 5 hours every day to graduate as a Medical Assistant, having 2 part time jobs, to try to supply for my children. Didn’t have time to sleep or eat, but I was always making sure that my kids had food and they had a place to live, a warm bed to rest. Love, peace and God’s presence. I thank God that I knew him, thanks to my mother that gave her life to him. That was a Monday after school, it was my day off from the restaurant we’re I used to work, I received a call if I could come to work to covered someone, I said yes, it was the recession time, I put my uniform but before I left, me and my children holding hands started praying for a miracle that we urgently needed. Only the hand of God could do that. I left and my beautiful children told me: don’t worry mommy! We already prayed and God listened to us, he always helps us and he will provide what we need. He will send an Angel to us. I left and in my way driving my car on the freeway I said: Lord I will worship you because of who you are, no because what you do for me, or what you give me. Because you are God. My English wasn’t very good at that time, but I started singing from the bottom of my ♥️ this song. With tears in my eyes I kept singing all my way. I got to work and a co-worker asked me. Hey Grace, do you want to help me today taking care of the people who speak Spanish? Because I don’t speak Spanish, I said, of course! I was a waitress assistant only, he said ok, I will call you when you have a customer, it was around 8pm when he called me, I grabbed my menus and walked to the table, with a big smile on my face I said hi, how are you tonight? And my customers were great, they only wanted a coffee ☕️ and a slide of 🍰 was a couple. I served what they wanted, and right after that, the man said: may I ask you a question? I said yes, he said are you a Christian? I said YES, JESUS is my Lord and Savior, he said: I knew it, I could see that in your face, I can see the presence and the light of Jesus. He said God bless you! I said thank you and God bless you too. After that he said how is work? I answered, soso, I been only working for 3 or 4 hours 2 days a week, but God provides for my needs. I said would you like more coffee ☕️? They said yes, so I went to bring it. When I came back they asked me, can you sit down with us for a little bit? I said no I can’t! I am sorry! I can be in trouble for that. They I turned my face where my manager was and she said, sit down with your friends.. go head. I thought I just met them, she thinks that we are friends. Then when I sat down they both took my hands and said we want to pray for you! And they put many bills in my hands and prayed for me. When I opened my eyes I saw all that money in my hands. 8 bills of $100 they gave me $800.00 that was the miracle that my kids and I were praying for! We needed exactly that amount to pay our rent, we only had 2 days to pay that and we didn’t have it because the economy in the Country was really bad and we were in financial crisis. But God! My God! Has all prepared for me and my family! He sent those precious 👼 👼 for us that night. My oldest daughter Madai, sent me 2 Text messages when I arrived at work and she said: mom don’t worry about nothing, I prayed to God and he will send an Angel to us today, he already has the provision that we need. He loves us and he always helps us out. I love you with all my heart. And God truly had that prepared for us. Monday when was my day off of every week, God had plans for me that day, and the manager called me to work, the waiter that asked me to take his speaking Spanish customers, ( they knew the English language as well) very well. And when we were talking, they told me the whole history, they were coming back from Tijuana, they used to go over there every Monday to preach the love of God, and they used to stop by that restaurant on the way back, that day was a little different, because this time, they were not going to stop because they were not hungry! That are over there before. And they were not sure to stop or not, thinking over and over, they said should we stop? I am not hungry, me nether, do you want a coffee? I don’t know 🤔. Ok let’s just stop for a coffee ☕️ ok all was perfectly ordered by God. And they with all the joy blessed me with their love, prayers and money, and they were so happy! Rejoicing.. telling me, that was God Grace! We are so happy for what God did tonight. They had a radio 🚉 station, they invited me after they knew that I was a singer/songwriter they invited me to their church and all was a wonderful, precious blessing. They showed me and my family the true love of God. People of love and faith, people that gave their live to serve the world, to help others to find the way to Jesus, I just found out this Monday 2 days ago, that he passed away.. my heart is very sad because I couldn’t see them again, but I know that they both are in the presence of God rejoicing.. and this song! Is the song that I was singing all the way to work, all the time that I was at work, and all the way back home, crying 😢 of Joy for the God and Father that I have. With $800 + in my packet! The miracle happened! Is what God does when we have ourselves to him in worship. I know that this history is so long. But I can’t stop saying what God has done for me.
