Loved how you captured Bucharest's energy! Calea Victoriei is such an iconic street. I just filmed a walking tour there in July 2024, and it was an amazing experience. Curious, what camera setup do you use for your shoots? Here’s my take on it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gJ9mpCx6Q0g.html
One of my DNA tests just updated and tells me that I have some ancestry that is from this city and I didn’t have any idea that my sisters and I are part Slovenian. So, I just am learning about this city now.
Went to Prague twice in my life. Once in 2009 with a group tour for 18-35 years old and in winter of 2021 with my wife for her birthday. Had a lovely time both times, Prague is such a beautiful city! Karlin neighborhood is a fun local neighborhood with lots of good restaurants and cafés, that was one of my highlights 🙂
If you go to Santiago be careful with your smartphones there're so many thief from Venezuela, Colombia and Haiti the local people are very quiet and friendly
Good video but I think it would be better if there were fewer stand-ups and more images, covered with voice-over instead. Some shots between stand-ups are too short and are cut amid a camera movement. Let it breathe, let it sink in. Anyway, thank you for the vide. I got some good info before heading there. Cheers
0:22 How is it possible to call this soulless crap "stunning architecture"? These are the views of people who possibly never had a real education nor are they rooted in any tradition: rap/Rachmaninov; Miró/Michelangelo; splatter crime/Shakespeare - everything is interchangeable for them.
it is amusing that the gay men of the world, from Paris to Beijing, all speak with similar tone and mannerism, that once they open their mouth they give it away. How so typical.
Martijn, your explanation and narration is brilliant. Will definitely follow more of your videos. We’re visiting Ljubljana in august, and hope to see lot of your recommendations.
This is the third video by you that I have watched, the other two being Copenhagen and Helsinki. I am visiting those places next week and you have been a big help, thank you and keep up the good work!
Thanks. Greetings from Bremerhaven the little Sister of Bremen at the Northsea coast. I hope we get the same attention. Oh and you have forget the smallest house in Bremen. Located in the Schnoor District. You can book this four square metres House. And you forgot Böttcherstraße, which also has a lot to see.
@Martijn Around The World Obviously you're not a born Eindhovener.😂 If wasn't clear already because of your accent, it's the fact that a true Eindhovener would know that it actually wasn't Philips who brought light to our city. Nor did Philips earn us the nickname City of Light. We are called the City of Light because of the matchstick industry which flourised here since the early 19th Century. There were several matchstick factories around the city. At one point in time some 95% of all Dutch matchsticks were produced in Eindhoven! That was before Philips even considered coming to Eindhoven, which they eventually did in 1891. Nice video though. 😀
