This song is really sad to me. It almost makes me tear up. I know dinosaurs is probably a metaphor for addiction, but to me its just about how sh*tty life becomes when you're an adult and how much you wish you could go back to that place of innocence and imagination that you existed in as a child. Being an adult in this awful world is so incredibly depressing. I honestly wish I could just exist forever in that time, playing pretend with my friends in the woods
Maybe someone can help me out with this- i hear so many so many people compare this band to Blue Oyster Cult and i don't hear it. I love Edelweiss just to note... but can someone point me to any songs by BOC that are similar in style?
