Hey everyone! I'm just a guy from Europe, Poland to be more precise, who loves speaking Vietnamese. I spent a few years living in Hanoi, Vietnam, and during that time, I fell in love with the language and the culture. I think there's something truly special about learning languages and being able to communicate with people in their native tongue. So, alongside my regular job, I started recording these videos for you all just for fun. I hope you enjoy them! 🇻🇳\u003c3
Because of the shaming that goes on in our country. The older generations sometimes decide that they would rather their children fit in instead of knowing their culture.
My in laws did this to their children only English so they would be " good Americans " & all the children resented them for not teaching them language & culture.
Now that they're grown-ups, sure. As kids, they would have resented them for making them different at school. There are kids who get shamed when they take ethnic food to school. Damned if you do/don't.
Like when people start asking me in arab oh u look egyptian are u?i say la wich means no they look stupid at me but im from egypt but cant speak any other word than non😂
