Yes! This has happened to me for years and I thought it was just caused by my allergies. 😂 It can get expensive having to throw out coloured contacts. If I wear the Victoria Beckham eyeliner in my waterline, I get a film on my contacts. They are great if not used on the waterline though!
Essie Here Stay basecoat is good and strengthened my long bendy nails but shrinks at the sidewalls, I want to try Morgan Taylor, Holo Taco and Glisten & Glow but these tiny bottles cost £15/$18 for just 10ml/2oz? Not worth it! UK 🇬🇧

Do you have any good experience with Stila? I bought that one and after application into my waterline I was out and about I felt like I had fibers in my contacts and it was very uncomfortable to wear the contacts. I know it was the eye liner. I used to use Rimmel scandaleyes that wore ok on the waterline the only problem was that did not stay too long. I will definitely try out the Bare minerals Round the clock eyeliner. Thank you!
I see that this post is old, but I'm so glad I found it. Thank you for this explanation and for confirming the reason for what keeps happening to me. Upon doing more research on tightlining, I have decided to stop doing it. It's a beautiful look and so easy to do, so it's a shame, but it's not worth risking my eyesight or the health of my eyes. And bonus: I will never ever again ruin a valuable contact lens due to makeup! Thanks again for helping me to make this decision. I hope people will wake up and learn how unhealthy waterlining and tightlining is.

Has anyone notice this happen with some mascaras also? I assume it's from accidently hitting my eye with the wand. I know for sure it's happened to me with Maybelline waterproof Pumped Up! Colossal mascara.
I’m going to say that you had a light on the even better side causing a reflection on your skin. I think the glow side looks more natural. Your skin on the glow side looks more poreless.
Omg im so glad I came across this. I dont understand why I never hear any one talk about this. Its been a major problem for me. Ive given up on eye liners and even some mascara because of this happening. Im scared to try eye makeup out of fear of messing up my contacts. Seriously, thank you so much for making this video.
It's the worst problem for me and I won't believe it until I try some of these hopefully they work because I was driving one day and I had to pull over to the side take my contacts out and try my best to make it back home, it was a true nightmare!!
I feel that you overloaded the brush. I did short sprays to brush, closer than you, and repeated for the other side. I don't like the primer or setting spray any longer. There's a learning curve to be sure, but this is the only product that covers my significant capillaries without looking cakey. For me, the three products are too slippery and settle.
I accidentally run into a beauty supply in Palo alto and found out about Kevin Aucoin cosmetics I bought the dark brown eyebrow pencil and oh My God I love it!! It’s amazing it looks so natural! I have bought from chanel to you name it and never liked any they’re unnatural. I am going back to buy mascara, eyeliner and more. Love you Kevin you rock!! Gone too soon
My honest opinion is that it looks very fake,you can see that it’s not your hair.Long hair does not suit you but well done with applying the extensions
This happens to me too and it’s beyond annoying. I’ve also found that even if I bring extra daily contact lens with me and switch them out after my makeup is on, the film could happen even on the new contacts. I have no clue what the cause is. Has anyone figured out if this is an ingredient or if it truly is that everyones reaction will be different? It’s so bizarre but I’m so thankful for this video. Thank you for making this!
The lighting was reflected on the right (your left) so it had more glow and looked shear. The Glow product looked more blurred. Both looked good. I’ve been using the original for years and can’t find anything that feels or looks as good. It’s a light coverage so if you want full coverage it’s not for you. However it may be build able.

I just got one like this and I wish I saw your video before. I am SO dissapointed. I thought this brand this price would be good. it's aweful, can't even begin all the things that are wrong with it. Was thinking of Clinique WHAAY did I not get that. I wonder if I could get a refund cause it's ridiculous.
I have very thin bleached hair. I like wearing my hair in a pony tail but can not find one that is "thin" enough or that isn't so heavy for my hair. The ones I currently have are so heavy it pulls my natural pony down until the entire thing either slips out or pulls on my natural hair strands which is uncomfortable. Any suggestions? I do not mind synthetic hair. Thanks.
I have used this make up for years. It is wonderful. You are not very open minded. You used way too much to begin with. You are awful at this, it would help if you knew what you were doing.
I wouldn't spray my hairspray around a flame either! But it is a Very Good Product. It Does Smooth fine lines. If you don't want to use it, Then Don't!
