Man, this is a revolutionary run. Seeing Wahnthac have very respectable runs of this years ago was mind-blowing enough. You've just absolutely demolished everyone on the leaderboard 😮 GG, now bop my bad Sheffy 1 records!
fr whenever i feel jaded by kaizo i boot up my emu and stuff my face with humble pie. the skill shown by _any_ regular kaizo player is truly a thing of beauty
"You don't have to prove something to not be true for it to be generally accepted as fact." I keep replaying this over and over and I feel like that lady with the numbers and triangles on the screen, staring confusedly.
i think i meant "you don't have to prove something to not be true for it to be generally accepted to not be true" as in, its impossible to disprove anything 100% concretely (ex: the solar flare upwarp theory) but if something is so unprobable it shouldn't be thought of as the thing that happened. im not good at talking
honestly not really aside from try to land on the shell as far to the right as possible. I’ve beaten this hack a few more times now and I’m still not very consistent at that trick, it’s the hardest individual trick in the hack imo
@@revolug thanks! I have gotten very consistent with the Baron style back drops, but the timescale for which the inputs need to occur in super Alabama beach mouse have been ridiculously condensed it seems.
@@adamsiefferman5547 marvisjj does backdrops in a different style where instead of turning around as you jump and then dropping the shell, you quickly press left+down and drop and then return to holding right as fast as possible. it's hard to get used to but i'm pretty consistent at them by now
@@revolug Thanks for the clarification. When I studied your video at .25x it almost looked like you held forward+down while dropping and then turned. That was only a quick look before work so I could be getting it wrong. I'll try the method you just suggested. I was sort of getting a feel for it, but definitely a long way off from consistency.
Dude whats your hand care routine? I can barely get through a level or two before my hands are on fire. A lot of it Im sure is youre young but do you do anything special?
when i first played this hack it destroyed my hands but as i got more used to the levels i stopped getting so much pain. having a soft grip on the controller also works well
actually about what you mentioned of 1A dashless i feel like it was 100% made that way so it can be done dashless since very specific screens have things like corners covered in spikes or ceilings that pop out just the right amount to allow the player to clear them with advanced tech. seems way to precise to be done by accident in every single room, as for any other chapter either has a mechanic that demands you to dash or isn't build in a way that the same techs (like spikejumps) would work (also congrats in Starfruit Supernova! ^u^ absolute masterpiece of a heart side) EDIT: also i love so much how halfway SS you can hear part of the melody of 7B cheering you on to keep going
i didn't know that, since i've never actually gone for it lol. i was just yapping honestly if they were thinking that far ahead that's pretty crazy game design
@@revolug when it comes to game design, few games are as well planned as Celeste hun ^u^ you planning on going for the Grandmaster lobby next i assume?
um, if i recall correctly this was one of the few things that went unplanned, or at least, mostly unplanned. I remember a now-deleted tweet about Kevin finding that most of the rooms were doable without dashing and then they cleaned up some rooms so they were possible (like second last room)
@@vividescence oh! that's actually a kinda funny lore behind the winged golden, kinda similar situation than happened with the Crystal Hearts and being able to die while collecting them (and that'd explain how some rooms in 2A have a very similar feel of being doable dashless even if the entire chapter is not)
