Hello! Thank you so much. I got that apple pot because I was inspired by starting a tiny backyard fruit orchard. I just planted three new apple trees and had one already. So, I hope someday to have apples and make things like a nice infused tea and cider and applesauce etc with them. That pattern is called, Pomona by Portmerion. And you can find pieces on eBay very affordably, if you are interested. They have teapots with other fruits like cherries, and a pear teapot. It cheers me up in the morning using it and I like the really fat little pot belly on it, too! Haha.
I have four teapots as collection. They are 2 teapots of Sadler and 2 teapots of bone China. I just love to see and touch them. And I say to myself: "ok, that's enough" 😊

I like what you said about being creative with what we have. Im on a limited budget too. I learn a lot from youtube channels like yours, to give me ideas and do my own dreams come true. I do a lot of things on my own too. I can relate. And I'm sure many others too. Im a city girl from Bronx, NY. I moved here to Tennessee 5 years ago. I love it here. I like how you pace yourself. Hello! I just love hearing from you! You sound just like me! God helps me, too. I do what I can with no budget whatsoever, but God gives me creative ideas and I dream about how it will look nice someday. Little by little, I get things done. You can use what you have. Even with little, we have so much. I also like to get things at the Salvation Army etc. And sometimes at my friend’s apartment complex, people put good wood furniture by the dumpster when they move out and I am refinishing them to work here in the rooms! People would think I am spending big money on antiques, but I am not. There is something nice about taking something broken and forgotten and giving it a whole new life, much like me! Haha. I saw a comment of yours on The Chateau Diaries ...so glad I checked you out. I love your hand-painted Fenton pieces. I have several lovely Carnival glass pieces but without handpaintings. I lived in Jackson, Mississippi on Milsap's campus and then a suburb called Briarwood in the mid-late 60's. I love the old ant-bellum homes. There are so few left, but I used to visit an elderly lady just off campus in a huge home with white columns when I was eight or nine yrs. old ...and she made me cookies or chocolate-covered pretzels & such when I would visit. She had glorious antiques and lots of Bavarian cut glass (I think some of it was lead crystal) like your pitcher. Thanks for the tour! <3 ~Tara (kindlydude's wife)
Hello Tara! How lovely to meet you! I just loved reading your comment. I read it a few times. What a sweet memory that you have of your friend in Mississippi. I live in Hattiesburg. Too bad you aren’t still here! It would be so nice to have a friend to talk about the old South and beautiful antique things with. I come from a very old Southern family and just reading your story visiting your friend reminds me of old times when I was little with my grandparents and all of the lovely Southern great ladies I knew and visited, with desserts always served. They are all gone now and the South seems a lot like just about everywhere else. I miss those old days, which is what brought me here to live as an adult. All of those great ladies had family pieces like your friend had and wouldn't you just love to have some of it now! I surely would, but even more so, I would love to have those friendships again. Thank you for sharing. You have made me quite nostalgic! And didn't you just love seeing Stephanie dressing up in the 1860s period dresses? I surely did. It makes me want to make myself some!

I have to warn you 😮 once you start collecting tea pots,it doesn't stop there. Next comes cups, spoons and all the things you need to have tea with your friends. I fell in love with fine china when I lived in England for two years. I was 16 at the time. I'm in my seventies now. So many tea pots and cups that I keep adding shelves to put all of my collection. 😅. Love Sadler tea pots.

I recently started collecting teapots too I buy from charity shops. People seem to have stopped using them. I just love them, also teacups. It’s a lovely hobby. The only problem is storing them as I live in a small apartment 😂😂😂

It is not a promo. What am I promoting? I have no subs! No products, either. I am just talking about day one before I begin a project and what I plan to do etc. It is taking me forever because I damaged my nerve in my shoulder and a lack of funds, so a promo would certainly be lovely.
