Soulless looking place , you can only see as far as the next slab of bricks or concrete across the street. If you look you notice the empty stores and boarded up buildings, sign of the times ? sadly it's the story of most if not all cities in North America these days , along with the homeless , and skid row tent towns.

Damn that busker used to busk at dundas square dt toronto all the time, times must be so rough even the regular busker shifts that far. From what I’ve heard online so far dt hamilton is in a rough spot too..... Stay strong ppl, rougher times will come.

Till 2004 Olympics Athens was looking more than good. Than gradually degrated. Foreign influences, too many invaders of the worst kind, the fundamentalist uprising of the worst neighbour (🦃🦃🦃) one kan have and a Europe that is committing suicide!!!
It doesn't look european yet the country as a whole is important to define many European cultural elements. Polikatikias en general contradict a lot the typical European city style construction (Church, Tower, Square).
I came to Hamilton from mexico and I've never seen so much mental illness. I've also never heard suffering until I came here. I've lived in 4 countries and there is some mental illness going on that exceeds anything I've seen in the 3rd world. I mean seriously, the place is an outdoor mental asylum. Having lived in places where people dress in their Sunday best to sort through my feces filled garbage to try and find a recyclable bottle I can say there is something going on. This isn't created by poverty, and the migrants don't seem to suffer from it. Something isn't right.
@tomzamp8547 The northern areas of Athens, the western suburbs, and Pireaus are more pedestrian friendly. But generally, the city is large and dense with narrow roads and sidewalks.
