Hello. We are just returning from Kopaonik, Serbia and thinking about the next ski vacation. How did you find Jasna? Was it crowded with long queue waiting times? Are the slopes well groomed and flattened? We are a family of two adults and a 13 yo girl and we are intermediate skiers of blue and red slopes. How long are the slopes? In Kopaonik the medium time for going down the slope was 3-4 minutes, quite short for a 5-10-20 minutes queue waiting time. Are the slopes longer in Jasna?
The weather was not so good this week, bit of rain and freeze made the snow icy in some places, but mainly towards the top of the mountain, there are plenty of beginner slopes, they were a bit crowded this week but maybe because of new year vacation, next week will be sunnier and they do good work grooming the slopes each night.
you'll laugh. You passed the mrs 5.22 mins in me 5.32 mins in. What run that was that day. Perfect conditions. I remember that exact moment when the snow fell out of the tree. Best snow we've had yet that year. Last year was awful and no Musala for us. Hopefully this year will be better :). Pure coincidence
This winter is madness in the sense that there is no snow anywhere, at least in the Balkans... I have been to Bansko a couple of times and it is a great place for skiing, but this is sadness... luckily, this year we decided to go to the French Alps :)
Same, I go to La Plagne on 21st Jan. By pure accident, I've booked a snowsure resort due to being so high in the Alps for my first year away from Bulgaria.
Wow! Is it always this busy (the queue at the end for the lift), or was it just because it's a bank holiday? Thanks for sharing. Was hoping to get on the mountain soon, but I guess waiting for more snow might help?!
