In July 2018, we made the LIFE-CHANGING DECISION to sell all of our belongings & move from a comfortable life in McKinney, Texas to Joe's homeland of Samoa! We documented it through film, but didn't start editing or posting those episodes to RU-vid until November 2018. So we are a little behind in posting our edited vlogs. But we will catch up soon.
We'll be here for the next couple years doing our best to learn the culture & language so our family can know more about our roots & heritage. We realize this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us & our kids, so we're documenting every second of it!

She’s pretty much the best. I wish she could show you around too! Unfortunately, she passed away in 2020. You’ll come across her tribute video in our vlog. She really touched the hearts of a lotta people.
I always pay a visit to Sails Restaurant when I come back home for a visit love the food the atmosphere and most of the all the service pretty good vibes be sure to check them out again on my next homecoming ❤
Hi... Bula Joe I'm sorry for that bad experienced in Nadi but i must say ..that Fiji still have many great people to Trust..then a few who tries to spoilt it. Hence, geographically, fiji is much different from the rest of the Pacific Islands because of its different scenery of it's Regions based on the Weather patterns it exposed to... that's what you maybe experienced in your sight seeing in Nadi and it's Amazing Scenery..Nadi is in the West side of Fiji and it Always referred to as the Burning West. Fiji is a Land Of Wonders.
That's the real Samoan cuisine lol I grew up watching the oldies eat that stuff and everytime a bottle of that sea slugs n snails stuff found its way into the fridge it was like gold was found lol not for the faint hearted 😅😅
I grew up in Pago Pago. My family and I left the Philippines in 1985 and lived there till 1992. Mom met my dad now at the starkist. My uncle who is a Samoan married my aunt. I have little memories. There was a grocery store near my grandmother house and I would walk to get her vegetable. School wasn’t the best I had to get moved to another school because the teacher would hit and paddle my hand
Seafood cucumbers and other kinds is only for the island locals, born local” race local” and grow up local, that’s why us islanders we eat local, salute and respect for you brotha” from a Micronesian 🇫🇲 local 😊❤
