Chris, could you maybe donate some money for one brother in Poland? 1$=4zł. He had. an accident in Brussels, in Belgium (Europe). He was walking on the streets in Brussel like everybody and bunch of men or 1 idk to be honest assaulted him to gain some material assets. and now he is on wheelchair. God will for sure return you a lot more, we are sure about that both. I'm asking because currency in Usa is 4*stronger than złoty (currency in Poland), so maybe it wouldn't be strong hit in assets of yours and your life. God bless you Chris and your family, if you can't that's okay and completely fine. God bless you Chris and a lot of blessings for you and your family from God ❤❤❤😇😇😇
Home Insurance in some of these states - CA, TX, FL - will just move more and more into the E&S space where terms and prices aren't regulated and where carriers can turn a profit. Other markets here you should be keeping in mind...
getting appointments as an independent is impossible right now. You have to join a cluster and even they are saying they can not get appointments for new agents right now. Do you have any advice to get direct appointments in todays market?
@@aloiswinzinger1160 you’re right it’s extremely difficult right now, especially for personal lines. I would high recommend focusing on commercial carrier appointments because those are still available
As an independent broker you have volume obligations to carriers. There is no falling in love with anyone carrier. You have to spread it around in order to maintain your appointment.. this is the biggest drawback to be an independent. I started out in life as an Allstate agent and the Support training marketing that I got was amazing.. Being independent made me realize that the captive life isn’t so bad
Hey Chris, I hope this reaches you. I’ve been watching a ton of your videos on how to start up your own agency. I haven’t came across one that breaks down the startup cost of it. What did it cost you to get everything together. As far as insurance cost E&O, carriers appointments cost (what carriers do you recommend getting appointmented with) cost of marketing, how much did it cost you to buy leads?
Insurance companies are not screwing around. They are using drone images taken on roofs as evidence to automatically non-renew policies. I also heard of policies being cancelled because the homes are too close to their neighbors.
I do believe that in states like California (and others such as Georgia, Florida, and Louisiana), home insurance will be structured similarly to flood insurance policies. This means it will need to be administered by the state or federal government, with insurance providers handling the underwriting.
Am I correct that, to get flood insurance, your area must meet specific criteria to minimize flooding; otherwise, you cannot obtain it? If so, I can see similar principles being applied for wildfires.
For sure cali screwed up let the insurance companies compete in the market place best price and service wins thats it why are they getting involved in the rating in the first Place free market will solve this problem
I really wish they would add a more customized pricing. For example, if you have gutterguards or defensible space, you should get some credit. I believe it was colorado that has a list of items that get you a discount. It reminds me of how xmods work. But we really need some new systems in place! I get that they need to be profitable, but they also need to reward customers who defend the home from fire.
@@lcc-loccolleenchaco8004 for sure. In this situation the state of CA kind of screwed them over, so it kind of makes sense that they have to take some action
@@christheinsuranceguy That's smart. I like the way you operate. Is it difficult and or time consuming to keep track of everyone's commission? Do you use any tools to make this process efficient?
@@KirandeepKaur-e6e there is public data everywhere. If you go to fiverr or upwork you can pay a data scraper like $50 to create a huge excel list for you
@@talisiyank we reward hard workers. It’s the lazy people who cut corners and want hand outs that will be let go. I would encourage them to shop jobs if they can’t handle it
You were asking him questions that is public information such as who is your insurance company, what type of freight, what are you hauling. All that info you are able to see online. Out of curiosity what market were you going to quote this account with?
Hey Chris how much ya charge for a short consultation? 22 year old agent wanting to try out and would just appreciate your opinion before going into anything
