Why do we have a primarily administrative agency delivering & overseeing technical, natural resource, and biological programs? All such programs should be on the NRCS side of the building. With State, and Federal wildlife biologists, and foresters assisting with planning, and boots on the ground implementation of practices. FSA should only handle the fiscal side of the Farmbill. And, for heavens sake, simplify the sign-up, and contracting portion of these programs.
Regenerative agriculture will prove, has proven to be profitable. Whenever the government tries to introduce land & water laws that will HELP watersheds, the organized voice of ag calls it “ Overreach”. Hopefully, the new young, innovative, and progressive producers will adopt sound soil & water practices. Glass has to be half-full or else?
The entire world can’t live on the North American continent. The North American continent can’t support the whole world. Not at the expense of our natural processes & species diversity.
Good video, but one note: exploding population growth is no longer a thing. The vast majority of nations already have birth rates below the replacement rate. A gradual decline in population will be the trend from now on.
Very informative! But I would ask that has anyone ever measured the number of acres of golf courses, football fields, baseball diamonds, and residential lawns that apply chemicals at triple the rates of agricultural land does? Yet all the blame is directed at the farmer.
