He stays in bloodrage because he has to finish the overdrive animation to leave the bloodrage state. Parrying it in any form prevents that from happening.
wow. as a person who's new to gg this is so insane and I hate it but I love it also. im guessing she can parry Bridget's super? (the big teddy bear one)
I'll have to get back to you on that one, but I believe the first yoyo attacks from that super are fully parryable , but Roger's (the teddy bear) slam follow up is probably an unparryable projectile. What I need to see is how fast Roger's slam comes out, because it might be able to punish Baiken even if she parry's if it's delayed enough.
I just tested it, and parrying Bridget in that super will have Roger's slam come out in the middle of the animation, making Baiken invincible to the slam followup. And since Roger is a separate projectile, he can't be parried
If you’re curious as to how to beat this, the parry is a frame 1-7 catch. This means that if you delay something past that window, it will hit. Also using projectiles where you can helps
can't exactly delay a super after activation, and since a lot of them come out after a cutscene the timing is always going to be the same so Baiken can always parry it if the player is good enough. Of course, the counterplay to this is ,y'know, not throwing out supers in neutral.
@@glasslicker2829 the gap between Kick to Heavy gatlings Is usually sufficient, or any punch/kick into special cancels. Basically, if a punch button would punish the gap, it’s big enough to beat parry.
I believe Chipp moves way too fast to actually be able to pull of the parry after the first hit, and the fact that he climbs the screen makes it basically impossible after the second hit. When Axl does his timestop, it's basically a screenwide attack that does no damage, so Baiken will basically just drop the parry altogether and be free to hit
Respectfully, what does this mean? Parrys are in a lot of fighting games and guns are rare but definitely a lot more common now a days. Truly disregarding the rules of fighting games is bringing scissors to your next set and giving the opponent's stick a haircut. "Oh no they're playing pad!!" Everything has counterplay
@@nicoco678well, I dont know what he means about the Baiken part, but HC very much does break the rules. The gun is entirely separate from the rest of his kit, meaning he can do a lot of really stupid shit, but this mainly means, especially with how his gun works, he can whiff punish you… when hes the one who whiffed, among a lot of other stupid things that can be done due to how his gun works. The gun isnt the part breaking the rules, its how the gun itself works.
@@scipto8628 i dont play MK but from My understanding his shooting isnt frame removed from the rest of his kit, HC can do his shove away move, whiff it, then during its recovery frames he can shoot his gun. Thats my problem with HC
