After watching this Reddit seems like a super annoying way to get traffic. Definitely seems like a huge time and energy suck and you have to play by their rules to the T. Yeah no thanks. Good job on explaining things so thoroughly. Also they sound like a complete group of snobs! What a freaking nightmare.
Hey, Tom thanks for creating such valuable content. This video has answered all my questions to get started. So the trick is not to be salezy, share real experiences or add value to the community, right?
I am a marketing director for a car wash run by a group of owners. These owners, for lack of better words have not set me up for success. There was no plan or strategy that was set in motion to garner any awareness prior to the car wash opening. The owners have not made any attempts to connect with the city chamber, attend any events, etc. the list goes on. With that being said I am tasked with increasing the number of cars to the wash I am still very new to this position and the industry alike and so I thought I’d ask what would your actionable steps be given the brittle foundation that was laid? Thank you for your content, it has already helped me tremendously with this new position I am in!
Super pleased to hear the content has been helping! 🙏 I think as a starting point you'll want to segment your potential acquisition channels and create strategies for each...like you say, local bodies/authorities for potential partnerships or even approaching local businesses offering fleet deals, etc... The next most obvious channel would be direct local consumers - I'd say most important thing here will be optimising your Google My Business page with as much info as possible and ensuring you're getting as many reviews as possible - I know for me whenever I'm looking up a car wash, I'll simply type 'car wash near me' find the one with the best/most reviews as well as the most information I can find on their Google listing, and drive there... Also you'll want to make it super easy for people to leave reviews, QR codes or NFC review cards can help make this really frictionless and you can also incentivise reviews by offering a discount or some form of reward points, on someone's next visit
@@zipa1123sevratio for sure, it's unlikely there's a particular pre made theme that would incorporate all of the same elements though, you'd probably need to have a custom developed page
@@ElevateDigital When you said I'd probably need to have a custom developed page, do you mean that I'd need to use specific codes, or would I be able to create it with Elementor or some other web builder?
Hi, your video was really helpful, thank you! , I have a question respect to Clarity ,In the case of storage, I was checking, and it is managed through the Azure platform, which does incur a charge. Is that true, or how does the storage work in that case?
Hey! Glad it helped 🙏 I believe that's correct but it won't be linked to your own azure account unless you have some sort of custom enterprise account with specific storage needs. This answer response explains how storage works in more detail: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1520587/does-azure-cloud-service-have-a-storage-limit-for

I'm getting so many good ideas from your channel, thank you! I really like how you cut through generic marketing terms like "value" and "storytelling" and get to the crux of it. Thank you again!
Hey, thanks so much for the feedback! 🙏 Marketing has become so convoluted with all these buzz words and generic statements over the past few years, so a big thing for us is trying to distill it back down to core actionable principles... Super pleased to hear you're finding it useful!
Thanks for the great video. Is there a way to track the activity of new users vs existing users? Or it allows only to track just the activity of all users together?
@@firlex_1891 yeah sometimes you have to wait 24 - 48h for the event to appear, just make sure you visit the page after setting it up so the event can actually trigger in the meantime
5:47 you are talking about unique visitors but the only to options next to sessions are users and new users so why are you talking about unique visitors? where can i find this
Great video, really helpful to clear out things for someone who just wanted to start on Reddit. My question is that I am working on to generate leads for article publishing company and my ideal customer is PHD students or people who want publishing their articles. So what further you can suggest to generate organic leads
I like the realisitic expectations you've highlighted. I sell online courses and educational services. I have a questions- is there a tool for looking at the most popular searches? There are a million videos I could create and post, but would like to make them relevant to trending searches. Is there a tool like this available? Cheers.
@@NevinsEducation there is, RU-vid SEO platforms like VidIQ or TubeBuddy have this kind of functionality but interestingly I always find it's wayyyy harder to rank for those high volume keywords, especially at the early stages. The thing you have to remember when using these keyword research tools is that your competitors will have access to the same information and are all doing the same thing chasing big high vol search terms... So you basically end up in highly competitive spaces with everyone going off the same 'high volume' keyword data and if you're a smaller channel, it'll be very difficult for you to compete. I've found almost all of my top ranking RU-vid videos and blogs, have simply been things I know my customers are likely searching for because they're questions I get asked by them every day, but because they're often quite niche topics and not necessarily 'high volume' they don't get picked up by competitors. Which means it's wayyyy easier for me to rank and get that traffic. Once you then start getting rankings, views and subscribers compounding from these lower search volume videos over time, it'll be wayyyyyy easier for you to compete for bigger search terms as your channel becomes more authoritative so will be suggested more by RU-vid. Same principles with website SEO! Another way you can 'validate' rough search volume/interest in a topic without relying on tools (which are often just give inaccurate approximations anyway) is to type in a search you think customers might be searching for, and see the view count of the top ranking videos. If you see the top 3 videos have say 50k+ views for example, and were all published several years ago, this is great because it shows 1. There is likely a decent amount of people searching for it and... 2. RU-vid love new content so the fact the top ranking videos are soo old, means you'll probably have a very good chance of ranking if you can publish some newer more up to date content on the topic That's just what I've found 🤷
@@ElevateDigital Thank you very much for the detailed and informative reply. You make a good point about high competition, if I were to base my content on highest searches. I'll keep on watching your channel for more tips and thank you again!
Thank you for the thorough walk trough. FYI - Funnels has been implemented in Clarity now (I haven't tested them out as of yet, but they are there...) 😀
Hey Cathryn! Difficult to say as it really depends on the typical buying cycle, average customer value and current average CPL...if they have other campaigns running though that are easily bringing in a cost per qualified lead of under $700 then yeah probably best to turn it off for now
I've spent $700 so far on an Accelerate lead gen campaign for a B2B client, and it has resulted in 0 leads. Time to turn off? Wondering what you consider a "low budget" for testing? This is a company that provides coworking and private office spaces.
Outgrow and Typeform are great platforms for quizzes, but there's lots of others - you'll just want to check the integrations on whatever platform you use to make sure it integrates with your CRM/email marketing platform so you can then update/tag contacts accordingly 🙂
Hey there, excellent video. I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think?
