That's another good spot to look for agates. By the parking lot the cliffs holds squirrels. If you sit on the bench and have food, you can feed the squirrels. Yes. Do not go out on that jetty. I used to go out during low tide fishing until i got hit by a sneaker wave. It almost pulled me in. Lucky I was hanging onto a rock. The waves has knocked cars and people off the jetty. That's why it's blocked off.
Where the seals are used to be the sportsman docks till the seals took over and the tsunami destroyed it. There's also point st George light house at the end of enderts beach rd.
I went to the caves when I was in 4th grade. Around 1983. That bus ride up scared the CRAP out of me. Thought any minute we were gonna go over the edge. Vowed to never go back. Have been to Shasta many times to fish. Never been back to the caverns!
As kids we used to slide down the handrail to the beach. Never explored to the left, didn't look like it would have agates. During low tide we'd go climb on that rock with the tree. Looks like there's not many rocks left on that beach. Those blue rocks are Not agates. They are a different type of rock. Those cliff rocks you can find clam shells in them.

You can't miss turning left at HWY 89 because their is a stop-sign with flashing lights, slow-down bumps, and all kinds of things. It's like a "mega" stop sign.
