The only ballerina I have seen on You Tube dancing this being able to not only maintain her balance during the turns but also lowers her arm gently with each cavalier & not frantically like most ballerinas. Her ability to maintain her balance on pointe is astonishing.

We try to look for his performance videos but there’s very few footage of his dancing; it wasn’t the age of internet back then …. The "fall" was so minor, I actually didn't even catch it the first time and had to watch it all over again. Then, what was so impressive was how quickly and gracefully recovered and continued. BRAVA!!

Norma Fontenla fue una bailarina extraordinaria, resistente, segura y con una excelente técnica. Su Odette del Lago de los Cisnes 🦢 impecable, así como en otros ballets: Sebastian, El Combate, El Niño brujo, y su inolvidable Mirtha del ballet Giselle, que bailó con Margot Fonteyn y Rudolph Nureyev. Esa noche, le robó protagonismo a Fonteyn y Nureyev la instó a bailar el rol principal de Giselle; lo cual hizo con gran éxito antes de su trágica muerte. RIP Norma 🌹❤️♥️🌺💖
