@@karenyoung58 yes that’s a good idea too. The other day I made a card where I used skinny strips by colouring them and then putting them together and die cutting for a striped background too!
I need to do this so bad!!! Thanks for the motivation! PS: That aqua/turquoisey card with that pink would make a great combo for a vintage-type Christmas card!
@@lucyc glad to be of assistance - it certainly helps with making things easier when making cards up too! And yes you are right that would be a lovely combo x
Gorgeous, fun cards - I love them! The polar bear is so cute with his jumper on. I have only done handsewing on cards - not with a machine. I do love the sewing that you did - really adds something extra-special.
@@brendaclarkson3499 thank you - sometimes having the larger canvas can be a little overwhelming - my best advice is just go for it and try things out - after all it is only paper!
Don’t love it but we all make cards we don’t love. I’d put it away for a rainy day and get it out again and add something or remove something. Who says the card is done?
I came across your channel part way through your Christmas in July series and have really enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing what you do in the coming months.🌟
This is the first time I have seen anybody do the sewing. I have heard about it but never seen it. I will be pulling out my machine very soon. I really enjoy the look and these cards are so cute. Thanks
Just came across your channel.. love your cards. I too love using products from different brands .. I have so much card candy which I’ve had for a very long time (years) and often use them in my card making.
Very nice cards, I must have a look and see if I have this or a similar stamp set. I don't sew on cards, not particularly keen on how it looks, mine never seem good when sewn.
@@marzs1214 for these I did use my sewing machine but no technical tips from me as I don’t really use it for anything other than paper! It’s a case of testing it - don’t go for anything too thick and avoid sewing where there might be adhesive. X
