Come along with The Coogans as they share their adventures in Hollywood, celebrity fandom, conventions, working in Hollywood, and their love of the 80s and each other.
Slightly unrelated but this reminds me of a line from Kevin Murphy from the team at MST3k and now Rifftrax who reviewed ye olde ancient 1950s (or was it 1960s?) PSA about Good Hygiene Practices (seriously no wonder people are obsessed with cleaniliness… the jokes write themselves), where he says the line “Before the beach is overrun with mating elephant seals”… Even though it was said with much humor, best to avoid the beach if you encounter an elephant seal and they are mating at that point. :p Seriously though, if either of you haven’t heard or seen MST3k and Rifftrax and you enjoy a good movie, TV, or video game, etc riff - I recommend it (no I’m not being paid to promote them. Just a fan of their comedy, and nothing more) Incidentally, I recommend also seeing that Rifftrax video (which you can watch on YT for free) which I mentioned about “Good Hygiene Practices” - let’s just say, because of them, among close friends and family, I’m honored to say as a kind blessing “Blow mud my children.” Enjoy!
Growing up watching the 1991 version will always be my favorite. The whole 90s vibe, the whole " girls are always respectful to adult but not really*, and the score Draggin The Line, everything else was great as well. But im interested in seeing this new version. Can it hold up with original version??
Hi Keith I’m wondering have you watched the Disney Plus version yet of Adventures in Babysitting? It’s funny how they edited out the bad language. On the subway scene they call her a witch lol.
Why doesn't Hollywood stop remaking movies and start making new original movies. The original movies are classics and don't need any changes. Roadhouse a classic they ruined by remaking it, Rocky Horror Picture Show is a classic and they remade it. Stop remaking and come up with something new and fresh and leave the original movie's alone.
I have Flight of the Navigator on DVD. I even coughed up extra money for Alan Silvestri's music score on compact disc. The music cue 'Star Dancing' was never used in the film.
I never imagined the original would need a remake. Personally, I would've been fine if a remake didn't happen, but now that I'm just finding out about it moments ago ( I'll keep an open mind and give a shot).
Keith, I loved you in everything from “Adventures in babysitting”(1987) Hiding Out(1987) Cheetah(1989) Toy Soldiers(1991) A reason to believe(1995) I would love for you to appear on an episode of my podcast, I think you appeared on Jeremy’s “Makers new math” 8 or so years ago, anyhow, so radical to see you hear 🎞🎞🎞🎞🎞🎞🎞🎞🎞✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
