I'm about to make this card and I'm going to give it to the World Languages teacher at the school where I am student teaching. I will be adding the phrase 'Happy Birthday' in many languages just for fun.
Excellent as always! Thanks Leo. I just wish I knew before hand that the skirt was embossed. I have already put the glue on the the fold to connect and you only mentioned it was embossed after we started glueing
@Dreaming Tree The printable vellum that is linked in the supply list, takes you to amazon to Grafix Vellum Inkjet Printable, 50-Pack, Clear 30-Pound, 8-1/2-Inch by 11-Inch. Unfortunately, its unavailable and dont know if or when it will be back. So all they have left is the 24lb clear. Is that ok? Or is there another one you would recommend? Im trying to see if I can get all the supplies together so I can make it. Thank you
Finished today! It is so cool. It took me a lot longer than it takes Leo. Thank you folks for your suggestions about marking the pieces while they are on the mat. I did this in pencil so I could erase it if I needed to. My biggest problem was my wood embossing folder, it really rips the small pieces. I found that using the mallet method, which gave it a more mild embossing really helped. Love to you Dreaming Tree Team! You are the best!
Well This was the push I needed to learn Print & Cut. Its so darn easy...Beautiful Fall project I love. Thanks to Leo for his mad teaching skills and to the brilliance of the entire team. Happy Fall Y'all.
A fun project as always 😊! Leo, don’t know what machine you are using… my Cricut Maker cuts my little circles perfectly round. Maybe it is time to change your machine?

I'm thinking of using it on a card, just gluing two folded trees together but not gluing the two tree areas together, just folding them so that I end up with 2 tree halves glued down, and 2 tree halves 'loose'.....I'll have to try it...presents under the tree...I hope it works! :) Ok...I glued 3 together, and it laid flat, with two (doubled) layers free...so glued down, free layer, free layer, glued down. I love it! This may contribute to our cards this Christmas. Just fyi, LOL!
What a great project! I have mine all cut out, just need to get it assembled. Making it for my daughter’s classroom. She teaches junior high English lit. Have some other Dreaming Tree projects for her to use in her classroom as well. Thank you for all the fun stuff!
I've bought and downloaded the mosaic leaf lantern and already put in my DS file, ready to cut. Then I spent at least an hour, looking for the textured gold cardstock. Please tell me where I can find it. Thanks!
@@karlagaddis-kirk1039 the link is to the textured gold we used which is sold as 12x12 inch. You can purchase a larger sheet of cardstock but not smaller. :)
