Great video! Thank you! After the passing of my beloved wife I needed to downsize from my bigger 43' trawler. I wanted a vessel with all the amenities my larger boat had but in a smaller package. I ordered and took delivery of a new Ranger Tug R-31 CB in 2021. After three seasons of use, I absolutely love my boat. My tug has even more features that my larger trawler had; solar panels, bow & stern thrusters, wine cooler, engine driven cabin heat, two full Garmin electronics packages, etc., all as standard equipment. I also opted for the cockpit steering station, dingy with Weaver quick release davits, full cockpit enclosure, etc. Because the designer and owner of Ranger Tugs John Livingston had worked for Bayliner, people accuse Ranger Tugs of being low quality. Not so! They are well built vessels that offer lots of features for the money and are incredible with regard to their use of space making all of their vessels seem larger. My tug is vey economical at 8 knots but can also cruise comfortably at 15+ knots. It is a lighter boat, however, I have been caught in some very sloppy situations including 5-6 foot seas and never felt unsafe. I generally cruise coastal NY (Long Island Sound), coastal CT and RI. I also love the fact that the dealer service is fantastic as well as the factory which will take your call or get back to you to answer whatever questions you might have. After three years of ownership, I am very happy with my Ranger!
Question? European here talking (so i am used to metric km an hour): she says 90 miles per hour cruising speed. But see is on the water is that then always NAUTICAL miles = nm an hour or like in car on land in the states miles per hour. 90 miles an hour on land is 144,84km an hour but if she means nm an hour it is 166,68km an hour.
Hi, we are here at the Cannes Boat Show with our brand new VisionF 82 “SITARA” - an 82-foot motor catamaran - built completely of aluminum and with a very exceptional design. If you are interested in visiting the yacht, just get in touch with the owner, that's me. Maybe we can make an exciting video out of it.Regards,HG
Um, giving the fuel burn rate and the speed it fuels is not the correct info for that type of equation. Crazy how people can have access to wealth like this but not remember elementary school word problems.
Who cares when people are trying to put shoes on their kids feet and food in their gut he's probably a corporate thief getting bonuses he doesn't deserve while his workers are trying to put gas in their cars it can sink for all I care
Very KOOL FAST boat 70 knots keeps coming you out of reach of the Pirates. So myself personally I would definitely buy this boat with the outboard engines. The speed in the fuel economy would be phenomenal for those that don’t like the speed you can always go to inboard way, but I say outboards are the winner.
Bertram's Ray Hunt hull form is indeed very good for rough water speed and stability. It is NOT however good for efficiency. Many do not understand this and think deep V hulls are the best. They are in fact poor in efficiency. Many boats use deep V hulls that should not. By contrast, many fine Carolina type sportfishing boats (regardless of where they are made) use more balanced deep V sections forward, transitioning to quite shallow aft or even flat. These are best for sane speeds employed 98% of the time on the water. But for outright racing speeds on rough water the Bertram hull or a deep V is functionally best given the need for softer wave impacts. Is that what you want for your sportfishing boat? Most do not. When marketing and trophies determine sales over common sense, half the industry goes awry.
🍀 it’s totally amazing what the people are doing these days and majestic is just gorgeous. It would be a good Bahama boat.🍀✌️✨ 14 foot beam. Wow it’s amazing.
Since when is the second helm in the cockpit standard equipment? There are TWO sinks which seems to have escaped his superficial gaze. Any chance he knows where the engine is? I doubt it. This is a great boat even though the salesman doesn't know anything about it.
