Lmao. It’s funny when someone with a degree explains how it does work then some cash crabbing scammer projects their issues onto others by saying it doesn’t work. Why? So they can do a more expensive thing for you to gain profit as they tear their bodies apart?

I just wanted some advice doctor does a face-lift actually help marionette lines or folds become some surgeons say it doesnt but if it didnt then what would be the point because in my opinion if everything else was improved and those were not then they would stand out more. I have bad marionette folds ive had filler 2 time's with no success no improvement thats why im thinking about face-lift.

My dad is 48 and he said he has been using ONLY green alcohol to clean his face for 35 years and he has no visible aging. He has looked the same for like my whole life, and he looks really young so he tells me to use it as well, I don't know if I should though.

Is there a way to keep fat in the face or is it just inevitable that you lose it?

It is quite difficult to keep fat on the face. A body is a system and the face looses it first...

this video would have been great for me to have before my surgery. my surgeon's materials did state there could be depression but i do not recall anything explained extensively. I didn't get depressed over the down time as I did enjoy the relaxation. My depression came from the results after the swelling started going away. it's almost 2 1/2 months after my surgery and i'm still not happy. i'm already planning on what i can do to fix what i don't like. it's awful. I still see some creping and that was one of the reasons I got a facelift in the first place. Yes, I definitely do look better than before but my expectations was smooth tighter skin with no creping. Now I have to wait at least 4 more months to see how my healing is at that point and possibly spend a lot more money to try to get what I want which might either be laser or more surgery. All I wanted was to be happy with my facelift and it has been nothing but unhappiness and stress for me because I surely was in the mirror getting more upset each time I looked. I took one entire day to not look in the mirror to see if I could get over this and it didn't help. Unfortunately, we have to look in the mirror to clean our face and brush our teeth. All this time and I still cannot look at myself. Out in the daylight I cannot even look at myself because all I can see is that creping on both sides of my face.

I would like you to cover another topic, if it’s possible.. the “post-op blues” but after having done the procedure and everything looks just fine. But you look in the mirror and, yes, you look amazing but you kind of don’t recognise yourself… not because the plastic surgery went wrong or something.

Thank you for your suggestion! We never thought of it because the goal is to achieve natural results. It is the same patient, same facial features, just looking 10-15 years younger. Some of our patients do not believe when we show them "before" photos

If you have made attempts to dissolve under eye filler but it doesn’t completely dissolve, will fat grafting in that area in conjunction with a deep plane face lift compromise a good result?
@KonstantinVasyukevichMD
@KonstantinVasyukevichMD 26 дней назад
That could be a next step to consider. Also lower blepharoplasty might be needed, depends on the case

50% is quite a bit of loss😟. I was told that patients may have to return a year later for more grafting. This makes sense now-

Plastic surgery is a luxury, not a must have. Doctors having the expertise to perform hours of surgery should be compensated for their time and expertise. Patients who have chosen the best doctor they can afford should enjoy their results for 10, 12 years. So all things considered- expensive but justified -

He forgot to mention about stretched skin. I'm at 4 weeks and i think my doctor pulled out my skin and maked it too tight. I saw patiens of him and they llook great at 2 weeks, i looked horrible , he said is gonna get better, but im.not sure , does any of you get the same too streched look and get loose overtime,? Seriously, i look like joan Rivers, hoping it will change soon

Do not agree at all. Part of dating is to build trust. If I know you are dating multiple people, I will be very careful so I do not fall in love with you. How can I trust you? I will just forget it. This doctor will never find a wife if he keeps dating and falling in love with multiple women. None of the women will trust and love him. Love is selfish and exclusive to one person.

When you mentioned average longevity will you basically look the same at your like 6-12 month post op that you would at year 8 basically? You mentioned minimal aging changes, but is that kind of like difference between 30 and 40 essentially? But like you would still have a youthful face shape at 8 ish years correct? I take this as not looking exactly like how you did in the post op pictures? Would there be anyway to to prolong facelift results, i know fillers and stuff can mask early aging changes and give the illusion of lifting and youthful shape in the early changes.
@KonstantinVasyukevichMD

Hi and thank you for these all wonderful questions! Lots of them require a consultation to talk about longevity of my facelifts in your particular case because it varies from patient to patient and the key factors here is lifestyle, genetic, your skin care routine....In general, the results last long years and we have only approximate numbers. Nothing looks exactly the same with time!

You talking about the tape didn't help I would have liked to see you put it on someone.
@KonstantinVasyukevichMD
@KonstantinVasyukevichMD Месяц назад
Would never put it on someone because it stretches skin a lot. Especially after a certain age when skin looses elasticity, using this tape will stretch the skim more and more.

I'm a 67 year old fit and healthy male. I had a lower facelift and necklift on April 11th, 2024. I'm in my 4th week post op. I wish my surgeon would have spent more time with me before my surgery, but he always seemed rushed, always leaving me with unanswered questions. I know my surgeon is an excellent surgeon, but I don't think that I spent 20 minutes with him, total, with all of my combined visits. My consultation with him probably wasn't even 5 minutes long. My surgeon never advised about post-op depression. He said that I'd be driving in 2 weeks and fully recovered and back to weight lifting in 6 weeks. I'm in my 4th week now and I still can't move my head, so I cannot drive. I do not believe that I'll be fully recovered at 6 weeks. Had I had more time with my surgeon to have my questions answered, I wouldn't be questioning if I should have had this surgery, or not. No one warned me about getting depressed, but within my 1st week post-op, I certainly did get depressed. It wasn't because I looked in the mirror either. You say to keep busy, but my surgeon told me to lay around like a couch potato and do absolutely nothing for weeks. I'm very active and being a couch when I had a lot of bottled up energy really took its toll on my mental state. I'm much better now, mentally, but I'm still swollen and numb, and my neck is still so stiff that I can hardly even move it at all. Your video is very informative. I wish that I would have seen it before my surgery, so I would have been warned about post-op depression.

The test works for the front view, but what about the neck laxity? I had a beautiful, crisp profile for the first five weeks, then the under chin laxity came back once the swelling was gone.
