i hv a doubt. isnt angular velocity same throughout all points of a circle as all the points have unifrom motion and complete the 360degrees motion in same time???
Angular velocity need not be defined only for a circular motion. Even if there is a small tiny path of length dx (and this dx may not be a part of circle), even then angular velocity can be defined. Watch my another video in which I have shown that a particle moving in a straight line can also have angular velocity, it just depends on the point of reference.
@@ThePhysicsGuru hi i had another doubt unrelated to the video and cant find the answer anywhere. The work energy theorem statement states that w conservative plus w non conservative plus w external is eq to change in kinetic energy. But in questions im unable to differentiate between which forces i should take as external and which forces i should take as conservative. For example a bob is hanging from the ceiling via a spring. So is the spring force an external force acting on the body and is the gravitational force also an external or conservative force?? Would appreciate if u helped
@@adityasingh-qw9hn Take the bob of pendulum as system. You ma draw an imaginary boundary around the bob. Then we can realize that the tension force (T) due to string and the force of gravity (mg) are the two external forces acting on the bob. Work done by tension force throughout the motion is zero as T akways acts perpendicular to the path on which pendulum moves. Work done by gravity is simply mgh, where h is the vertical displacement of bob.
nice explanation sir,but the relative velocity of A wrt B should be Vba not Vab for example Vector OA means posotion of A wrt Origin(O) so ,waht you should have drawn a line from B to A,(instead of from origin)if am wrong correct me
Sir I didn't understand this in my coaching of 40mins but you did it in 4mins ! You are a really amazing teacher who focuses on basic concepts ! We need more teachers like you! Thank you sir❤
