A bit curious about this instrument. But having no experience with such instruments I wonder how hard it is to learn. My background is in organ and some piano playing, and I can play easy tunes on the guitar. Looks like the scale should not be too difficult to learn, though it is a bit reversed from what I am used to on the piano.
Nah, you should use grippy tape, like hockey stick tape. Wrap a strip around the thumb plastic hook and put the pad on, it won’t fall off but you can still replace it!
Thanks for this! Total newb here looking at the H8 to record live music for my band and needing phantom power for one of the mics used by the singer. One question. The mic is connected to the H8 via XLR input. So I assume that connection takes is used to record the mic to the H8. In for people to hear the singer tho, we'll need to also route mic to an amp which powers the vocal speakers. Is this connection made via the XLR output from the H8? Thanks!
Hello there, Firstly, I want to express my gratitude for your informative and inspiring videos on playing the Aerophone AE-20. Your content has been incredibly helpful on my musical journey. I'm currently focusing on refining my articulation techniques, specifically legato and staccato, and I'm seeking guidance on the proper tongue positioning for these styles. I was wondering if you have any videos that specifically address the correct tongue placement to achieve clear legato and staccato articulations on the Aerophone AE-20? Your expertise and insights would be greatly appreciated as I strive to improve my playing skills. Thank you so much for your time and assistance!
Hello. Thanks for your message. I currently don't have any videos on legato techniques. I'll add that into the list of what needs to be added in terms of video content.
thmn.to/thocf/difl5daqvy Hey your best bet is to order it on Thomann UK and pay for shipping to Nigeria. They currently offer that option. It might take a while but it should arrive. That's what I did.
