Why do you not note that she maybe a biological male…She has a lot of male features but is on hormones to fool you….ask all tennis players for a DNA test as well as the usual drug test…MTF are deceivers if they play on women’s teams…Shame for taking the money and glory from innocent people…
I agree at all with that is saying! Hope somebody can tell to Carlos think to his mental emotions.. no doubt he will do .. if he wants !! Carlos, Don’t let us … Love you ❤
I think Sabalenka had a higher average forehand speed than the men was because of most WTA players hit slower and more in the middle. Sabalenka often overpowering her opponents, their reply was weak and she had plenty of time to go to the ball, set up and rip the ball as hard as she could.
That's exactly what I thought when saw this stat. Except serve, any other strike in tennis depends of the previous one, and sabalenka can hit full power almost all time because female opponents barely handle her strength. Put her in front of any male/ATP player, she wont be able to dominate rallies and her forehand avg speed will decrease dramatically.
@@damon123jones yes, from 2003 the ATP mens ball has been slowed down many times, too many aces from the men forced the change, of course semi secret because men and women are "equal" Bran Bran brothers played mens doubles and Mixed doubles with the womens ball, they have the most accurate differences
It’s just click bait. It’s the average speed which is including the men using pushed forehand slice drop shots. Show us the median forehand speed comparison….
in the 2024 US OPEN mens final during the match ESPN showed a stat that the ave; forehand speed of both Fritz and Sinner in that match alone were greater than 80 mph; i am assuming the stat stated in this video is taken for the whole tournament; also her game is predicated on hitting the ball as hard as she can; men like sinner, djoko, nadal, fed etc do not have the sole aim of hitting each forehand as hard as they can for outright winners; these men are also playing more tactically using forehands to maneuver their opponents around the court before delivering the coup de grace ; if you had the top 30 men and saba in a contest in which the goal is simply hitting forehands as hard as you can all the time then the result would be pretty self evident; she wouldnt be first
Yea it makes sense that men’s strokes have more topspin so the ball travels slower than flat shots from women. However, I wouldn’t be impressed if there are 3-4 women names up there above Sinner and Alcaraz names, but Sabalenka is the only one. I think she deserves more credit than this.
@@tantennis are you kidding me? the average mph means nothing if the tennis balls used by the WTA are lighter and they are, but that's not the only metric. Alcaraz can hit 106 mph forehand drives and 100 mph BH drives but uses a lot of lobs, drop shots, heavy spin all of which contribute to a lower average value. The mens game is faster, harder and in every way a few levels above the women's game. while aryna stats are impressive, its not the only metric.
@@z1az285 are you kidding me? Who say men games are not stronger. Thanks for stating the obvious. Read again, if she doesn’t stand out from the peers, why there’s only her name up there. If the only factor attributing to her hitting faster ball than men is the ball, why Swiatek, Rybakina, Coco names are not up there?
@@tantennis She definitely stands out from her peers, but there have been tournaments on clay where swiatek has hit with more spin than the men or her mph was right up with them (average). you tell me. the average value is one indicator but its flawed. period. for the very simple reason most WTA tournaments use lighter balls than the ATP. So what are we comparing? apples to apples? absolutely not.
In my opinion men usually hit the ball really hard so in mens tennis the opponents ball is coming really fast which means you have less time to go for full blooded shots (mostly). Sabalenka gets more time to prepare for her shots and so uses her power (which she has plenty)to go full blooded.
Considering Sinner is a stick and Alcaraz isnt built much thicker er yeah shed possibly wipe the floor with them both shes built like a fucking terminator.
@@RamsBereit Honestly have you seen her shoulder span? It is wider than Sinner. They've been sitting together doing interviews after their respective US wins. Don't tell me she doesn't juice to get that physique.
@@Jeremy-f3syou need to get a reality check. You forget that carlos has fit forehands that routinely top 100 mph (106 mph at Wimbledon for example). but he employs a lot of lovs and drop shots that definitely impact his average. Sinner plays with a lit of spin and his average is higher than carlos because he doesn't hot as many touch shots. plus the women play with lighter and faster balls than the men. that too is a fact. aryna stats are impressive, but numbers are misleading.one has to read into them
@@z1az285 I'm just joking but in a way I'm not, again look at her physique compared to Sinner, they're not going to play together so it's all academic but I'm sure she could match it with them.
Man shut uuupp Aryna also has spin on forehand she doesn’t hit super flat like Ostapenko… Instead of acknowledging the statistics he trash talks Sabalenka and even mentions Gauff his darling because shesss soooo fast 😂 You cant be more biased than him srsly.
He said her ball has less spin than men's, as evidenced by the net clearance. He didn't deny the stats but offered explanation for it because any passerby who would see that would think that men can't top Sabalenka, which in fact they can, they just prefer not to play that way for reasons he underlined.
What are you talking about, he's not saying anything that people don't already know. Flatter balls will be faster but riskier while topspin balls will be slower but safer. Taller players also hit more flatter balls because they could. Their strike zone is higher so they can afford to hit with better net clearance.
Complete fluke. She was the luckiest grand slam winner in history. The definition of a fluke is that it is a non recurring phenomenon. She hasnt come close since and i don't think she has even gone beyond the 3rd round anywhere
I love Simona, shes been my favourite player for years! But if anyone thinks this is a spontaneous interview without days, vweeks, months of lawyers discussions, advice, questions n answers prep, you must be very naive😢
I WOULD LITERALLY GIVE MY RIGHT ARM TO HAVE COCO'S PARENTS, SHES SO LUCKY MAN. I ALSO LOVE THE GRANDMA LOL . GREAT QUOTE AT THE START OF THE VIDEO 😂. GOD BLESS TO THE WHOLE GAUFF FAMILY , LOVE FROM LONDON UK. YOUR TRULY INSPIRATIONAL 💙💙✌✌❤❤. P.S. I HOPE COCO WINS WIMBLEDON ONE DAY.
Sinner will win Wimbledon and USO this year without a doubt. He will most likely defend aus open 2025 as well. If he wins RG 2025, he will then become the youngest player to win all grand slams beating rafa's record
@@broncoguy4862 how is it hard? If it takes carlos 5 sets to beat Sinner on carlos best surface, then current form Sinner will beat current form Carlos on grass in 4 sets. Sinner didn't train for 3 weeks prior to RG because of the flu and hip injury. So he wasnt in the best form for RG anyways
lol, 1 year at a time guys. Don’t compare them the to big 3 yet. They have a long way to go but fire surely we can enjoy the new generations of champions.
