No that peak is Pen Y Gadair Fawr,highest point of the Black mountains.I climbed it last month.I did use to think it was the Brecon Beacons.I use to live in Bodenham.
compass, and check on a map, Pen Y Fan should be at a bearing of approx 235-237 degrees from your current location - but if you have a known point (Skirrid) you can check this.
Hi Richard, it's Carol here from Scotty Makes Stuff. Your payload is not enough to get good smoothing results. You need to use both counterweights to meet the minimum recommended payload weight.
@@richardradon The recommended payload range is 300g to 500g - I always use 400g to 450g myself. Your payload there is around 175g, hence the poor smoothing results.
Shame you hadnt panned right at the start of the vid, i dont think the quarry/concrete plant possibly being allowed to pump thousands of gallons of water from one floodplain to another has helped. Too much water pushed west of the lugg from the eastern floodplain if the info's correct.
