I got to see them twice. I bought their 1st 3 albums on cassette. I think it was their second & third tour. The 1st show was GREAT! Lakewood Ohio Phantasy Theater. 2nd show was good. I love their debut album! I blasted that in my Ranger a lot.

Smithereens were one of the greatest bands of the 80s...and there were many GREAT bands of that time. Smithereens rocked!

Actually one of the best guitar solos for any song out there. Short, but still intense and clean. Wish they would of kept this formula with all of their music and they would of been so much more popular. More than they were.

Got to see them live in the early 90's (94-95?). One of the loudest bands I have ever seen. Great show.
