Wow would love to see under the bonnet and tell us what was involved and needed for the transplant as 200tdi engines hard to find nowadays and this could be the answer to a lot of people's problems, looks amazing flying across the desert, Aidan in Ireland 🇮🇪
I used the nanocom to limit mine to 140 anything over is just wrong for a defender. after sitting on 160+ for 4 hours the transmission seals let the oil out and cost me 4k for repairs. but if you have the need for speed it comes with a cost. not to mention the fine if you get caught. :p
Hi I have defender 90 2005 Today I fit new Led head light . One small problem that in first swich(click 1) and Secound(click2) high beam on. I know some Landrover made some defenders with swich low light when you change for the Secound swich becomes brighter. Led read low and hight same. How we can solve the problem please?
You need to unplug the dim dip resistor... it is located on the drivers side inner wheel arch liner. Reach down by the aerial and you should find it. Drop me a Email to ian@irbdevelopments.com if you are still struggling.
Aren’t you supposed to use a pump or compressor to do this test? I mean if there’s a leak Won’t you still be able to move it with your hand but not with compressed air?
There is no 'typical' sound of the turbo when shifting gears, is this because of the uprated turbo you installed? you normally get that typical turbosound with a puma with decat and midpipe replacement...
Hi, I'm guessing you used a Gopro or similar action camera for the x-member shot, What did you mount it on? A rear wheel carrier of the tow drop plate? Cheers
Awesome sound! Please give some detail and couple pics of your system if you can. Maybe borrow some ideas to add decent sound to my 2.4 90 without taking up to much space... :)
