LNG Canada represents the largest energy investment in Canadian history. The LNG Canada project includes the design, construction and operation of a gas liquefaction facility, located in Kitimat, B.C., in the traditional territory of the Haisla Nation.
You are going to make a good electrician. Have a question for you . If l were to build a garage or boathouse 24x28 and did not want to have it completely wired before having the service hooked up, what would the minimum requirement be in terms of how many lights inside and outside as well as plugs?
This flyover does not show Anderson or Moore Creeks. Neither does it show where or how the Condensate will be stored or dealt with. I think an update to this is needed.
Why should they? The oil and gas industry in Canada is the single largest contributor to federal taxes - even more than the banks - about $22 billion a year. As a benefit to all Canadians it is difficult to overstate how important that is to national revenues. Understanding that presumes that you appreciate that the government does not print money but rather collects it from successful corporations as well as individuals.
it explains the importance of understanding how economy works. when you get paid as an employee, its because a business has to pay off all its expenses and generate income, so that they can pay you and hire you. But if you see large sum of money is produced and is not re-invested and returned to share holders, then it is a problem. So understanding how and when and where some indivisual or a corporation is taxed is important to understand.
Can you update this? I've been told the storage tanks are going to be offset and i have seen drawings that include Phase 2 including trains 3 & 4, which we all know is the real money maker and more than likely going to be built.
Good job Trudeau, but Alberta conservatives will give you problems, what is going on for Alberta pipeline? Also Québec got a new conservative minister because you didn't help Quebec's milk industry
Great Project for the Haisla Nation and the whole Kitimat Community - jobs for the younger generation who will construct, maintain and operate this world class facility - well done LNG !!!
The LNG Canada project fact sheet is an overview of the joint venture and explains well industry's commitment to providing an interdependent plan with the desire to increase employment and community benefits in the proposed build and operations of LNG export terminal in Kitimat, BC. I hope the four global energy companies will include leading edge risk analytics for "RESPONSIBLE RISK MANAGEMENT" (R). This is important to ensure that all the risks are fully evaluated in the submissions for Transport Canada. With the increasing focus on risk management it would be a healthy undertaking to make sure that all the dots are dotted and tees are crossed before embarking on the final undertaking; after all it is easier to proactively add a missing element than to re-tool.
sorry Shemama but fighting frac process is like Jane Fonda ignoring californias oil and gas that is proven to be many times worse that oil sands. Your province runs on money from this stuff. supporting scientific measures is much more productive than sitting on Vancouver Island saying you don't like progress. Wasn't that Island gorgeous before humans built there houses and dumped there waste on it. Until we all take responsibility for completely destroying nature to live we cannot simply say no to something we know nothing about. I love the wild and we need to find environmentally responsible ways to get our fuel and oil that provide the goods you use daily. But the conversation stops when ignorance is used as a communication tool ;)
A tremendous and monumental effort - Thank you LNG Canada and your partners. We have every confidence you will succeed. We can do this in Canada the Canadian way - respecting our environment, working with the people. This will be a victory. Hoping that you succeed in this very sensible venture.
I absolutely love this video - share it with your family and friends. It certainly explores the fears and questions regarding BC's Liquified Natural Gas. It comes down the pipe to the coast processed and cleaned. It only gets Liquified at the coast.
What a fracking shame to promote methane in this manner. Dont mention methane and what a disaster methane is... Did you all read the word methane? What about fracking? This industry doesnt know honesty. LNG is not separate from its disaster of fracking extraction.
Nice try, we should believe what Jas says, after all he's a "journalist". It only proves most people have a price. If this doesn't work out for you Jas, you could always go back to school become a doctor and work for the tobacco industry. Anyone else want a drink of kool-aid.
This video, and the public presentations that it documents, are misleading because the main concern about LNG is not spills along a pipeline or whether natural gas will explode; rather it is the environmental pollution effects of fracking including methane leaks at the well, as well as the carbon footprint of the processing plant on the coast. So the tactic used here is to take something that never was an issue and show that it is not an issue, without mentioning the real issues.
+Bill Metcalfe Well Bill - As a person who works with the suff every day at the source - I can tell you that we have no issues with drilling, fracking or processing at the source. We work within environmental compliance every day. But I am glad you recognize the safety and the magic of Liquified Natural Gas :)
