Strange recipe - I've never seen an onion added in this form before; almost thought you were joking. At the end when you pulled out only the skins, was surprised it cooked down that far. Looks very delicious, easy and not a lot of ingredients; my kind of cooking!
Excellent story telling, you're a natural. Sorry you were infected and had to go through hell & back to get treated. I would like to see the US pay health, dental & vision care like other countries do. This happened to me last week. I was born and raised in the US, currently live in Florida. I went to the dentist last week. I need a filling, on a back tooth. I have minimum dental coverage through my health insurance. My fillings and office visits are Free. The dentist is recommending to get a bridge to attach to that tooth, fill in the space next to it and attach to the tooth on the other side of the space. Sounds good, right? Not, they quoted me $1700.00 for "that" bridge, not covered by the health insurance. $1700 for 3 pieces of porcelain, each smaller than a pencil eraser, hooked together! Said he can't fill the tooth without ordering the bridge; doesn't want to put in a temporary filling. My answer - then put in a permanent filling. I'm 73 years old, not spending that much on a 3 teeth, I can live with the space, just fix the cavity. The space is only there because the crown that's supposed to go there, fell out and they can't seem to figure out which glue is the super duper one to hold it in place. I took the crown with me in a mini Tupperware container as proof, I had one. Said he can't do it, not part of the procedure, really, really pushing the bridge. I have an appt. this week with another dentist for a 2nd opinion. Wish me luck!
Very strange. I have never seen a grocery store on multiple levels before; that in itself would be weird. I'm in Florida, north of Tampa, we don't have a Trader Joe's in my area, if we did, I doubt it would be on multiple levels. Curious if anyone commented on Toofie?
What a wonderful story. It happened for a reason, seems like a very positive experience and you both grew from it. I believe it was spiritual and that have experienced life in a previous life. She was very drawn to you for a special purpose and you to her, it's a great feeling to feel that "at peace" with someone and so comfortable.
A bit expensive to live in NY, but that's expected. I live just north of Tampa. I bought a duplex in 2010, live on one side and rent the other side out. Rent collected pays the mortgage payment, minus the escrow amounts. I spend more than you on groceries, but I don't dine out. No car payment, bought a used car for cash many years ago but have auto insurance. Basic TY, works for many channels with just the outside antenna. Have internet, of course 50.00 a month & phone is 40.00 a month, unlimited talk, text and internet. Not a clothes person and don't buy extra stuff, maybe once or twice a year. Didn't see where you contribute to a savings account or emergency fund.
What a great story and unusual experience. I think it's cool that it was a surprise and you went with it, what a fun, unique adventure. Love your stories!
OMG - how funny, wiener blocking items. And, no, I'm not the least bit offended by the word wiener, I say, bring it, call it what it is - ha ha ha! Then....you get to week 4 where you lose your power through your wiener, I'm dying here. I don't think Kearnen is the one with the problem, it's clearly Mary. What a great story, I need to hang out with you and drink wine.
It's a cute apartment, are you kidding me. I like the alcove, window area. And, your own bathroom. Many smaller apartments have to share a bath down the hall with strangers. I like your personality, you're very entertaining. Nicely done!
Christ!! 10 bucks for deodorant (just watched all your videos.) I will gladly send you some from Kansas. Love your choices, editing, and subject matter. As a former New Yorker, I appreciate the tours. Hoping to make it back in the FAll. Keep it up!
You didn't ask so apologies if you're not wanting feedback, but between Spotify audiobooks and Libby through the New York Public Library, you could probably cancel your Audible subscription (saying this as a previous Audible subscriber)!
I dont know why but among all of the content on youtube sometimes i just want to specifically watch yours. Sometimes i couldnt remember the name of your channel so I searched “do you ever feel like a rat” 🤣
If this is how you spend every month I think you'll get a good financial rating when you go be a guest in Caleb Hammer's financial audit. Unless you have tons of credit card debt and no not actively working for your retirement xD
Interesting stats, although imo weird you left out the amount for your dependents (toofie) Also yes would love a video on apartment hunting in NYC! Manifesting moving there in the near future 🤞
Toofie breaks even on her own expenses with her “online business”. Hope this helps! And I think I’m nearly out of the trauma window (2 years since I moved) to be able to talk about apartment hunting.
Hello! I remember watching all of your videos a little while back but I cannot for the life of me remember what you do for a job/career. Would you mind sharing a bit more of that?
