This one's beautiful! Have you changed something with the way you mic the voice? It sounds different to me for some reason (in a good way!) - maybe more reverb? I don't know what it is, but I'm liking it a lot!!!!👍👍
Thank you! I had to go back and look to see what i did with the vocals here, rather than using a delay set to a high frequency i used an actual reverb here, i think out of the 4 i recorded for this album this is the only one i used reverb rather than delay for. Other than that same recording style as always, vocals are done a full arms length away from my phone, the body of the guitar about half an arms length away.
I love the sounds you've been capturing lately! There's kind of a softer quality in your voice in these recordings that sounds really good! The playing and composition are really great too - glad to see this has gotten some views!!! And you're three away from 70 subs... awesome!!!!!👍👍
Thank you! Im not sure what im doing differently other than my writing style, im kind of just letting things come out rather than sitting there thinking of what would go best next. I want to capture a very natural feel with these ones.

Yoooo Doug this song has both happy and sad elements in it. There is tonal shifts from verse to chorus and I heard the lyrics "today is a good day to die" which is really dark and deep yo. Good work here man.😢
