Some nice fishing there fella, i do the old sit on a rock and wait for a fish to rise myself, and there's plenty of big rocks to sit on in the Tees. Would love to live in one of those houses, everytime i fish there, i dream of those numbers coming in.
Looks a nice spot, was it my eyes or does that water have a blue tinge to it? Hoping to get out on our stretch of the Tees soon, it's been a horrible spring with all the water and the wind.
Nice variety of rivers, and fantastic countryside - Teesdale, North York Moors etc. The Esk looked impossible by any method there, hats off for your casting that mepp under those Willows! you deserved a fish really there!🤣👍👍
Good video.👍 Next time you come across a Mink try giving it a few squeaks, I've had them coming in as close as 6ft away. As long as you stand still you'll be ok as their eyesight is pretty poor, give it a try.
Caught 1x Sea Trout on spinner few weeks ago in first 20mins of a session. 20mins later caught another on feed and maggot... I just sat for next 40mins drinking beer as game over lol 😂
great session! sea trout are something I've missed out on in recent years, and in our parts the season finishes at the end of Sept, so I'm envious! if you have the streamy runs and pools I feel the fly generally performs better, but maybe its down to the time and effort involved! well done, cant wait to see the next episode! 👍
The grayling seem to be the only fish rising on the Tees recently, with a bit of luck I'll be there on Thursday, got a new technique I want to try for those big trout.
Great to see you've been out, myself i've not had as much time to get out with new job, just a few short sessoins on Wharfe and a short session on Yorkshire Esk. The Esk up at Danby is a totally different ball game compared to the Tees, the size difference is of the chart. On the bridge beeen closed, i don't know for definate, but i was told it was open, but like i say i don't know for certain as i normaly wade across, level permiting, had a few hairy moments.
