Just only discovered Damnability a cuppa months ago, and holy shit, talk about yayo for them ears. So fuckin good. Reminds me of a cross between Pirahna (R.I.P. Paul Baloff \,,/) and Morbid Saint. Cheers
Remember it well, great shows. Early 1990's when you could still go listen & see a band play that you liked. Now that SHIT they call music is Dyre Sickness ( sounds like a good name for a song/album) can't stand it, can't listen to it. If it's not a F**KIN remake of someone elses music (Forever Ruined) then they add all thier rap and rhymes (Ebonics) how can you listen to it to sing along, every other word has to be Beeped out for a curse word or the N word (which by the way they are the only ones I hear using it, to each other, to themselves, to thier families & friends, what's with that) and forget the video, some of those girl rappers are like 350 + lbs. and out there in things gyrating and humping, and feeling themselves up. Disgusting Representation (To Me) of Black Empowerment in women.i like pretty much any music as long as you can feel it and want to move to it. But this in the day was on FIRE. 🔥🚬✨💥
I offered Jerm to take this band back in the studio and record it how it should be done. I will engineer, produce and pay for everything. This stuff is timeless.
the effort and feel , the connection to the music had to be proven back then by originallity. and the details in the brakes, good lord. i miss it when the music was first. you can tell they pulled on the same rope. 4:05
Definitely listen to his performance on Resurrection 'Embalmed Existence' 1993 (on a nice pair of headphones if possible). Alex Marquez is one one the best!! (was a backup player for the Miami Dolphins at one point also).
