Growing up in the 70s, my best friend’s parents used to take her every year to pony penning. One year her grandmother bought a filly from the auction, and we trained it. It was always really small, we were about 11 and both owned horses, so we never rode it although we did start it under saddle. Mainly we taught it a bunch of tricks and how to drive. She lived with my friend her whole life. I live in Alaska now and have my own horse business teaching riding, but I still think it would be fun to attend some day. Maybe when I grow up…😂
Since 2011 my housemates and I have adopted 4 beautiful, sweet, dear retired racing Greyhounds and we are totally in love with these beauties! I have had or fostered dogs for about 45 of my 73 years, but had never known a Greyhound before. All of ours have been great with our in-home cats, and they all have loved touching and snuggling with us humans. Wonderful pets❣️🐾♥️
I am from Deals Island -Princess Anne and I remember going to Pocomoke in my 57 Chevy Belair and cruising for chicks ,My brother used to play at the Dances .My real memories was playing ball against them,as a tenth grader from Pittsville High school outplayed the big men and outscored them both ,remember Mason and Tatum. I had 29 pts,13 rebounds ,7 blocked shots at 5’11”.
